Set Up from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
stamping 10:00 – 5:00 p.m.
$25 Per Person – cost will cover room, prizes, lunch, snacks, chocolate, drinks and much more!
Door prizes, garage sale, tons of fun!
Please see attachment for shoebox swap instructions, optional swaps and instructions, and application form.
There will be a "Garage Sale" so bring your stamp/scrap items priced to sell. No current Stampin' up! merchandise to be sold. Please limit your stock to half of an 8 foot table. Due to an overwhelming Sale last year, we do not want all space taken up by the Garage Sale. Thank you.
Fill out attached application with a check to guarantee your spot due to limited space by July 17, 2010. This will give all stampers a month to prepare their swaps. We will notify you of how many cards you will make ahead.
Don't be discouraged if you are a newbie or not sure of yourself, we want to welcome you with open arms. There will be people there that will be willing to help you. We want to make this fun for all type of stampers!
this looks interesting but... exactly what is the shoebox thingy? Is it packets of supplies for cards and then others make the card just like the original from the supply packet? This is what I'm imagining...
A shoebox is where you design a card and cut and bring all supplies to make that card then people that attend go around and make your card that you designed. alot of times you will make half up ahead of time at home depending on the number of people coming. It is a good time of card making, friendship and get together. If you have any other questions please let us know we'd be happy to help you.
oh no--I am going to miss this event this year. I won a auction for a week at a cabin in Eagle River and this is the day we leave for it. I know everyone will have fun!

Barb-Darn that you can't make it. Always have an enjoyable time with new friends and ppl you don't see very often. Hopefully there will be another get together or maybe next time.

Hi StamperNicci - We would love for u to join us. We do not want to turn anyone away. The swaps can be made with anything u wish. We do request that the materials need to be comparable to SU products. For example, we do not want construction paper used for cardstock. We are not demonstrators so we are not required to follow anything specific. Please feel free to ask any more questions and hope to here3 that you will decide to join us.
I will be there, printing everything now, getting it off soon. My surgery went well. I am really sore, it's hard to sit, hopefully I will be fully recovered by then. Loved the Adams swap as always....Can't wait to see everyone and all the new people too. It's always good to share ideas and stuff. TLQ

Wooo Hooo - I found an Anything But idea that I haven't seen before & can't wait to get the supplies today to make up my sample tonight when I get home from the Expo!
Al & I were on one of our craft shopping days today - I'm excited to try out my new Big Shot! I picked up the supplies for the gifts I'm making for the Hartford Shoebox participants and I found some really cool tiles at Menards that I want to try stamping on!
I plan on attending. I'll send my registration next week. Can't wait to see all the different ideas. Thanks for putting this together. See everyone soon!

ok. Now that Jackson is almost here and gone i hope everyone is coming to join Tiff, Diane and myself at the Hartford shoebox. I only have a couple registrations that I have received. So Since July is just around the corner I hope to start seeing more come in the mail.
Just want to give everyone a heads up that if we do not have a large enough turnout we will be moving to the same location at the bank in Hartford. We would only be in Iron Ridge Comm Center if we need the room. But the way it looks right now we do not need the room but I am hoping things change.
So start sending in those reg. forms or let me know by email your intent to attend.

If anyone has any ?s please contact us and we will be glad to help you. If this is your first shoebox and you're not sure if you want to attend or have many questions, don't be afraid. We are here to help. You are not required to do anything more then the shoebox swap. Everything else is optional. This is a fun event and everyone is great company. It's always fun to meet new ppl.
Just as a note: If we have less then 20 attending we will be moving the shoebox back to the bank this year. The community center is a great place but does come with a rent charge so we want to have enough ppl attending so that there is enough money to go around for prizes, food, drinks, and whatever else we decide to do. We want all our stampers to get the most out of their money.
Reminder you have until July 17th to send in your registrations or at least contact me with your intent to attend.

Hi Everybody, Just wanted to let you know that my payment is on its way. Can't wait to see everybody. Really busy lately. My Dad had surgery and I was off of work for a month with him. Then I resigned from my job of 19 years. And now going on vacation to South Dakota for 2 weeks. PHEW!!!!! Can't wait to see all of you Moos soon.
I'll be signing up for everything. (I must be crazy) but then again I am off for the whole summer before I am even thinking about work.
Glad to see you coming to join us. I figured you were but I didn't want to assume. Cant wait to see the whole gang together again.

* Where is everyone???* Now just need to wait for the rest of the stampers to send us there registration. I wonder where everyone is. I sent out an invite to previous joiners and some of them responded that they will not be joining us again this yr due to their schedule. I hope that we will have more joining us.
I am excited for no matter how many we have but its always fun to have everyone around enjoying the same thing.

I want to get in touch with melv and see if Stampers Paradise is ready to open yet. I'm thinking that a weekend of camping and using her new building to get my ideas moving along for the Hartford Shoebox would be PERFECT! Melv - are you out there? How's everything coming along?

I cannot wait for this swap. I am so psyched. Going to Gina K's on Friday to buy some of her fantastic paper, and whatever else pops out at me. Have some ideas hoping the rest comes to me soon. Wish me luck. Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th.....Looking forward to seeing everyone and hopefully some new people will want to give this a try.
