I am in Town of Middleton, just west of Madison. Verona mailing address, but technically Town of Middleton. If you are familiar where Target is off the Beltline, you just go West on Mineral Pt Road, a few miles....

I organized a shoebox swap last February - plan to do one again sometime in early 2007. Let me know if you'd like me to add you to the "mailing list" for details once I have them all worked out.

What a taste of home! I grew up in Elkhorn-my husband used to hate it because we would travel a lot and people always knew right where I was from and never knew his hometown in Indiana that was 10 times bigger!!!
I am a true cheesehead!!! Had surgery on my ear when I was pregnant with my first baby. The patholgy report came back with this description-sebaceous cyst of a cheese-like substance! LOL - Documented proof!
I am too from the good old CHEESEHEAD State! I reside in Marshfield WI which is "The city in the center" of WI! I can't say that I love the weather here- such hot hot summers and cold cold winters- but you gotta love the PACK!!!! We got two sets of tickets this year- the last pre-season game and the Dec 17th game (oh that's going to be cold). We went to Cancun two years ago and my husband got off the plane wearing his jersey- not even five minutes after we got to our resort- a man came up to him asking if he was from WI. Of course he said yeah- Marshfield- it's near Wausau. The man said-I know exactly where that is- I grew up in Marshfield. We had a great time- found out that in some odd and strange way, we were related.
I just found out about the Northwoods Gathering in Schofield (near Wausau) and I am going! I can't wait to meet all the great ladies from WI!!!

Moving to WI in 2 weeks!
My family will be moving to Wisconsin Rapids in 2 weeks. I've been checking out all the swaps/Northwoods events in the hopes of meeting some of you great WI stampers.
If there's anyone in my area who would be kind enough to keep me posted on events, gatherings, or just getting together to stamp, I'd really appreciate it! Kinda hard to start meeting new people in a town (let alone state) that you know so little about!

My in-laws are in Wis. Rapids. What part of town are you moving to? I'm right outside of Madison (about 1 hr 45min south).

Hi, Tracy~
We're moving into a house in Grand Rapids. Near 48th and Z. I was there a couple weeks ago to see the house. I drove through Madison to check out the Archivers and found out they're opening one in Appleton, too. Might need to make a trip to the "bigger cities" every now and then to get my major shopping fix but I do love the wide open spaces and small town feel of the place.

I just joined this site and have now spent about 2 1/2 hours just browsing through everything...
had fun reading through this thread as I seem to be all over Wisconsin this summer (doing sprint-distance triathlons for the first time - high cliff... outside appleton, fremont, waupaca, and devil's lake - BEAUTIFUL parts of Wisconsin!)... Waupaca is this Saturday, and parts of the bike course have some nice ups and downs... yikes! - good prep for Devil's Lake though! ;)

My parents & sister live in Hortonville!! Such a small world. I am down the highway in Kaukauna.
Last year I organized a SCS get together, it was a BLAST! It was held in Menasha.
If there is enough interest I could plan it again this year!

Yep, the Wollers are one big family and they are all related to each other whether they know it or not! All Wollers in the Lincoln and Marathon Counties are somehow related to me!

This is my very first post on the site! i just found out about it from my SU demonstrator! I LOVE IT!!!! I am new to stamping! I am for right now in Sheboygan. I grew up here, then in 2002 moved to San Diego to be with my hubby who is in the Navy. We were then stationed in Monterey, CA and now we are stationed in Gulfport, MS, but he is deployed and we don't have a house in Gulfport yet, so my son and I are living with my parents! I would love to get together with others for the short time I am here!
I can't believe there are so many Wisconsinities here!
I was born in Marshfield, moved to Madison for college, moved to Shawano because of a great teaching job upon graduation and now split my time between my house in Shawano and my BF's place in Oshkosh!

My grandma's both lived in Polk County-Luck and Frederic and we have a hunting shack in Southern Douglas County, so I claim the entire state!

The rooms at the Lodge are only $89, and they INCLUDE four waterpark passes.
You won't wanna miss it--great way to get to know other Wisconsin stampin' gals. There are a lot of us, as you can see from this thread, and right now there are about 30 of us registered.

I will add my post too--I have a Waukesha address, but live a mile or so from Wales.
dianek--that is not too far from Dousman--I ride my bike to Doc's in Dousman often.
I was graduated from Adams-Friendship High School and someone earlier (I think last year) posted in this thread they were from Grand Marsh--I lived about 5 miles from there by Brooks!!!
Went to college in Stevens Point, taught for 4 years in New Auburn and now teach in Waterford for the past 20 some years.........................
There sure are lots of Packer fans on this board and I have to admit that I did watch the entire Bears-Packers game on Sunday...................was pretty sad though!
I hope to attend the SE Wisconsin get together next spring if I can.
