Thre is another thread about a showbox swap in October in the Milwaukee area: I think this is the link. Maybe check it out and see if that works for you--Barb
OK so I'm thinking about having a shoebox swap and want to see how many people are interested. I'm in West Allis (right at the edge near Milwaukee). If I did it at my house I'd have room for at least 12 people but if more were interested I'd find a larger place to have it.
Price (not sure how much yet) would include food & drinks as well as a goody bag and door prize (not sure what yet).
Who's interested. I'm thinking late October or early November just because I have a lot going on right now.
I cant remember if i posted here but i am outside Janesville orig from new jersey been out here for 13 yrs and wouldnt trade it for the world....Go Pack....
Hey all you Wisconsin girls...join me and some other amazing stamping girls at my shoebox in South Milwaukee on October 20th! Check out my post under events!!
By the way ladies...this event is a GO for sure as I have over 20 participants...max participation is 40!
I have some great raffle prizes for the charity raffle but in addition to that everyone will be leaving with some great stuff!!!!
This is my biggest event of the year...and the most rewarding because of the charity factor...so if you love to stamp and want to do what you love and help a great cause that helps children that are affected by callosal disorders....this is the event for you!
I've attached the info and registration form to this thread to make it easy for you to look over the details.
Please email me at [email protected] and let me know if you would like to attend.
You can also call me if you have ANY questions! I also have references from people who attended last year!
Me too!
I live in Edgerton, about 8 miles noth of Janesville. Moved here from AZ and I am loving it here in WI. I live about 6 blocks away from my daughter and 3 grandchildren. Love it, Love it, Love it.

I currently live in Appleton. Soon to be West bend. My husband is a Marine and he is in WI for 3 years of recruiting duty so I am learning stamping as a new hobby. LOL husband loves it. (not)
Wow! Look at all these Cheeseheads! I live in Green Bay (go Pack!) We need to get something going in Wisconsin. Who's going to be the brave one and set something up?
I'm in the Town of Middleton (Verona mailing address) just a few miles west of Madison.
You guys have an Archiver's I stop at whenever I visit my dad. I don't live in WI now but grew up in Fort Atkinson. My dad now lives DEEP in the North Woods. Just thought I'd stop in and say hello to you all!
I haven't read all the way through this LONG post, but I'm in Manitowoc and would be interested in a get together! (This is my first post, I've been a member for less than a week and just lurking so far...)
I just wanted to pop in to let everyone know that info for the NE Wisconsin Stampfest will be posted in January. Last year we had a FABULAOUS turn out of over 50 stampers!!!! It was a blast!!!
This year I have a wonderful team to help me plan and prep...so it's going to be bigger and better than ever before!
I hope to see everyone there!
Happy Holidays

I'm guessing it will still be in April, I think she's just saying that details will be posted in Jan (sign ups, etc.). At least that's my assumption!
You're probably right. I sorta thought that, but I have serious newborn baby sleep-deprivation so I am not making assumptions about anything b/c I am easily confused.
Anyone in the Madison area...please check out the link in my signature line. Shoebox gathering in Sun Prairie, March 22nd! Come join the fun.

I'm so excited to hear about this Northeast WI Stampfest! I hope I haven't missed anything. Anyone have any more information?
PS. I have an idea of what a shoebox swap is but could someone please clarify?
Martha
I'm from Wisconsin too. . born and raised in Menasha, now living in Brillion, a little town 20 minutes east of Appleton, 30 minutes south of Green Bay. (Went into lack-of-pizza-delivery-options shock when I moved here!)
I'm always looking for people to scrapbook with. Any happenings in the area? I would also be happy to host. . .
I live in Hortonville, 8 miles west of Appleton. If anyone has a group, gets together or any stamp events in the Fox Valley area I would love to know about it!
I'm pretty much a stamper. I go to a Saturday Stamp Camp near Shiocton run by 2 SU demos. It is at the Bovina Town Hall off of Hwy A - 9am-1pm. The next one is the 9th. If anyone wants to PM me for more info...
I have taken classes at the Appleton Archiver's. Have taken classes at Paper Creations. They have a couple open stamp, crop, craft sessions every month. It's nice cuz they have a restaurant right there so you can have a meal or snack before/during/after. They used to have more classes but it seems they cut back on that when they expanded their restaurant.
