This week's inspiration website is a gorgeous website called "Eglantyne Shop". Translated, the word Eglantyne means "needle". The store carries an amazing collection of items that are Victorian, shabby, vintage, etc. style. And that's all I've got for you about it!! The descriptions of the items on this web store are all in Chinese, so with the exception of the item I chose as my own inspiration piece, I didn't translate any other parts of it. But I promise, it's gorgeous, inspiring and I hope you'll check it out and play along this weekend (or later after the family festivities are over!). (Also, if you go to Google Translate and copy and paste any of the Chinese wording, you can get the translation!)
If you don't have time to spend browsing "Eglantyne Shop", attached are a few samples from the website that you are welcome to use as your inspiration!
How to Play ~ View the attached sample images and/or browse the suggested website. Get your inspiration from the the individual items, style, patterns, theme or color pallets. OK. I haven't made my cards yet. Easter weekend. NO time!! Yay!, but ugh too. I went ahead and posted my inspiration so I could find them easily when I get a chance to make cards. Maybe tomorrow night or Monday. This is such a wonderful site! LOVE IT!! Can't wait to have a chance to play!
I love the inspiration challenge I just don't get to play it very often! I needed a little inspiration for a project so I took the opportunity to check out today's challenge. Thanks for the Fun inspiration! I made 4 treat boxes and a card....Just one card and treat box is uploaded for now.
I had loads of fun on this challenge! Eglantyne shop items makes me think of pre-revolutionary France - Marie-Antoinette style, as depicted in movies ;)
