Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
This week I'd like to invite you to enjoy the colors, textures, and fabrics of Soft Surroundings. This site is full of deliciously beautiful design and inspiring photography! I'm sure we'll all find just the thing to inspire our creative energies this week!
Challenge Goals:
Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. :cool: Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Soft Surroundings.
Use the keyword: IC501 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 5 of my favorites.. so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
The Inspiration Challenge is my favorite, and I was so glad Audrie posted this week's challenge early because I have a stamp class tomorrow and probably wouldn't have had time before the class to make a card. Great site this week. Here's my card:

!!!!!! LOVE this website......I want to completely remodel my house now!!!!!!! Thanks, Audrie, for another fabulous challenge! I had a blast making my card: Vintage Roses Blossom
Inspired by the Salmanca Chevron Mat and dedicated to my dear friend Detelinka, who just visited. I used a washi tape chevron border, some yellow ribbon, and a green recycled border for my travelling friends- here's Friendship Truck.

Oh, I certainly had a big Wish List when I was finished browsing this site! A pair of boots to die for, a pair of shoes--didn't know they made those chunky heels like we had in the 70s now--hee! And the furniture and decorative accessories, don't get me started. My Under the Sea Surprise card was inspired by two swim tunics.
What an awesome website - I looooove those sandals!! If only they'd had a pair in my size... Anyway - thank you for the great inspiration site Audrie!! Here's my card: { You are Beautiful }
