IC59 - Book Leaf
Inspiration Challenge 59 - Book Leaf - IC59
My mom's birthday was this weekend and she got this really cute book from Hallmark called Cats Antics & Attitudes. As soon as she opened it I told her to stop - the inside cover (that's called the leaf??) was so cool - I asked her to scan it for me. And now I'm sharing it with you
There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild -- be *inspired* and go get stamping!
REMINDER: Please put IC59 in the keywords box when you upload your card (no space b/n IC and the challenge number) . If you have more than one keyword use a comma to separate them. Thanks!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Thank you.
I can't believe I am the first to check for the challenge! Unfortunately the inspriation picture does not show up. Only the really neat card by Karen. I know the site has been kind of wonky today so maybe it will straighten out by itself. If not please to to upload the inspiration picture again. Thanks

You don't have to play I certainly wouldn't want you having a breakdown just before VSN! Oh, but just in case you do, why don't you tell me your challenge and then I'll be able to fill in for you ;)
Karen, this gave me a perfect chance to use the paper peicing punch that has been sitting in the drawer taking up space and only used once. I turned it into a valentine for my nephew.
Hard time with this one too! Had to use patterened paper- not happy with it but here it is! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers Maybe I will try again tomorrow well rested!

well the stripes aren't actually part of the bookplate they are a cover page.
the bookplate is the white with those few angular lines... so those of you having difficulty with stripes, just actually go from the bookplate
Karen, When I first saw that Insp piece (in thumbnail size) I thought it was your long lost scrapbooking paper fanned out like magazines on the coffee table (as if my coffee table was uncluttered enough to have magazines on it, but I did see them that way on TV before so I know it happens!) What a fantastic pattern they have selected to be inside that book.
Happy BDay "Mom"!!
I can't wait till I get some time to start this one.
As always, thanks Karen for taking the time to pick something out and post for us IC addicts... we *need* you!
Karen, another great way to start a Saturday! Just waking up here in Ohio to cold and snow. This is a wonderful addition to THAT! Can play after two basketball games and concession stand working. Thanks Karen!

I think that the IC is definitely my favorite challenge! I can't wait to see what I can come up with on this one! I think I'll go run a couple of miles first to get my creative juices running. If I don't get hit by a bus, I'll be back soon!
Here's mine called Peaceful Sympathy. Thanks for the challenge Karen!

Reason: wrong link posted
When I saw the inspiration I immediately thought of this paper from the TAC Pop Rocz designer collection. I got this great new incentive set from TAC this week called The Good Life. It has two solid flowers and a bunch of circular sayings that fit inside, as well as tons of other words. Anyway, got the idea to make a Valentine card for dh. I am SO happy with the way it turned out!! Thanks for looking! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
