Several of my customers have asked why SU! no longer puts labels on the end of their inkpads. I know that's been discussed here and I've explained about the new multi-national focus. Anyway, I decided today to make labels for my customers to use and I thought I would share those with you as well. These are in pretty small print and designed to fit on Avery 5160 labels. One row of three has all the colors, so each sheet will supply 10 customers.
I'm sorry to say that I worked from the left to the right, so the colors don't seem to go in order. But they do after a fashion. It starts with the Bold Brights on the left and begins Earth Elements. The center continues EE and starts and finishes Rich Regals. The righthand label has Soft Subtles plus the Neutrals.
Another idea that I heard from another Demonstrator is you can also use the word window punch - it fits perfectly on the end of the stamp pad on the bottom. I just tried it today and it looks awesome. (This way you can use whatever labels you have lying around!)
I don't get it. Where do these labels go? Are they for the pads themselves so you can see all the colors in that family? Do they go on the storage carousel thing? This is probably very obvious but I'm totally missing it!
They go on the ends of the pads where the color name used to be. (You must cut the labels apart.) I also used them to label my paper storage. It worked out great.
Rita, sorry, I don't have the ability to make a PDF. Perhaps someone else will.
Thanks so much! I just paid money to get these labels on you know where! What is the new multi-national focus?
Pamm
Pamm, Stampin' Up! is now in Canada and offers a French Canadian version of their catalog. They're also in, or soon to be in, Australia. All items have been relabeled in English, French and Spanish, just too much to fit onto the pad face.
I never would have thought of that, thanks a million for that, I hsve labels and these clear things that go over the labels to protect them, so that is what I will be doing tonight.
Thanks a lot!
