Hi!
I am finally incorporating my new colors into my file system. I decided to put one color per penaflex folder. I typed "B,S,R,E" to name the groups in front of the the color name, and then I made the color of name to match the color. I thought it would be so much easier for me to find the colors. As I was filing, I found some mistakes, so the ones are on the second sheet. I ended up doing 2 colors per tab because I only had the huge tabs at home, but the template is designed for 1/5 hanging folder tabs.
Cool! Thanks for sharing this. I recently started organizing my paper in file folders but never got around to making the tab labels so you just saved me a lot of work! Maybe now I will get that project finished!
You are absolutely wonderful. I'm so tired of not being organized and having to hunt for things. It just so happens I planned to work on my paper this weekend. You are a lifesaver.
Thanks bunches.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Will use this list to put on my boxes that I plan on keeping my scraps in. I already have them marked with the group, but actually listing all the colors was my in my plans. Thanks again!
I used the round tab punch and punched out a tab in each color. Then I just wrote the color's name on the tab and glued it to the file folders. Now I can see each color and read the names too. Sandy
Do you find the cardstock bends or curls from being stored upright in the Pendaflex folders? I've heard conflicting reports about this over the years and was curious about your experience. Thank you for your efforts to make the set of tabs! What a great resource. SCSers rock!

I have mine in hanging folders and have never had a problem with bends or curls.
I went a bit further, and when I made my Pendaflex file labels, I also added the color family (abbreviated SS, EE, etc.) and item number (for fast reorder inventory) and and a manila folder in the front to hold cut pieces, scraps or opened packs that only had a few sheets left. I found a two-layer Pendaflex file "rack" on clearance at Target a year ago for $10.00, on those end caps they tend to put clearance things on. It was very easy to put together. It is completely open on the sides and front, which is good if you have a long piece that sticks out of the file! The top is very sturdy and great for my Carl Cutter, and it is on WHEELS!! I think you can find them like this, and the paper does not curl. If I get too much (like filling it up with extra "In Color" colors!), I may keep those under my Carl's Cutter, sticking out so I know where they are! Unfortunately, I do not have a template, but those numbers sure come in handy!!
