    Gail:

I started with laying down red, orange and brown Ranger distress inks on a craft sheet or acetate by smearing them in circles overlapping. Then I spritzed them with water until I got drops of color and some blending going on. Then I laid my 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of white cardstock in it and moved it around. It is nice if you use the acetate as you can flip it over and push color where it doesnt go. The little red speckles on teh bottom were the edge of the color. Then you need to let this dry and it is a good idea to place something on this that won't get ruined if it gets wet. This will help it dry flat.

Wait until dry. I stamped my 3 trees with pigment ink onto the ATC. I then decided to versamark and clear emboss the larger tree across them. Then I went back and sponged the same colors over everything. Lightly add the colors smearing them on randomly. After that was done I went back and filled in my trees with some color pencil to bring them back to the front.
