I have a lot of bare rubber stamps that I mount to blocks with Aileen's Tack it Over and Over. I've been storing them on Stamp N' Store Storage Panels in 3 ring binders, only they have started falling off of the panels. I've tried refreshing the TIOO, but it's not working. I'm losing stamps!
I've been searching for a more secure way to store these stamps, but coming up without a lot of options. I have a lot of the Avery Elle Card pockets, but I don't like the idea of them sitting loose in the pocket. I thought about CD cases, but am having trouble locating enough of them (we used to get a lot of work, but now we mostly get sleeves or the thin cases that won't work).
Anyone have this type of stamp and a good storage solution for it?

No blog for me. My gallery chronicles my card-making successes and mishaps.
Mine are stored on storage panels in page protectors (with a stamped index at the front) standing in bins. I have a mixture of clear, cling and bare. I use Tombow on my bare rubber stamps, which is not as sticky as TIOO, and I don't seem to have any problems with them falling off and into the bottom of the page protector. I assume you are cleaning off the old TIOO before applying new. Never been a fan of TIOO. Tombow has always worked well for me.
The binder thing has always seemed problematic to me for just this reason - if a stamp does fall off, there's nothing to catch it. Also I'd rather flip through panels in a bin than turn the pages of a binder, just easier for me.
Hopefully someone with experience with TIOO specifically will be able to weigh in.

It depends. I usually mount my stamps and they cling to the sides. The unmounted ones I put into one of the photo boxes for future mounting. The best part is that they don't fall out and they are somewhat organized. I also use a label maker and identify the sets in each box.

Reason: Added more
I cannibalized cheap photo albums to get "sleeves" to put laminated cards filled with photopolymer and unmounted stamps with 2-way glue on the back (Sailor, in my case, but I can't find it any more, so I'll have to try Tombow or TIOO now). I have mine in smallish boxes, but they would fit very well in the Iris photo case if you don't try to put them in the smaller individual cases - just line them all up in the big one. Here's a visual:
Sue, where do you get the laminated cards? Or do you make your own?
Totally make my own. Diane (fionna51) was my inspiration. She laminates cards and I riffed off of her system. I cut cardstock in half, put the half sheet in the laminating pouch, then run it through the laminator. The second (empty) half of the pouch laminates to itself, so I use that half as a cover sheet for the cardstock half. I use 4" x 6" photo sleeves, so I cut the card and cover sheet to 3 7/8" x 5 1/2" to allow for the thickness of the stamps. I've been using this method for a couple of years now, and it's working well. I use the Royal Sovereign 9" laminator and 3 mil pouches. Both are on Amazon. I'd go get links for you, but I'm late for work, lol!
Ah, I don't have a laminator and want to keep costs down, but you've given me an idea.
I totally hear you on keeping costs down, and if you've got another idea, then go for it, but I just wanted to throw out that the laminator and pouches are the BEST investment - hands down - that I've made in organizing, and the second best overall in my studio (MISTI takes the first spot...) Plus, it's relatively inexpensive at $20-ish...

I would love to have a laminator. And a MISTI, for that matter. But I just replaced the sewer line to the house, which wasn't planned and was stupidly expensive, so all frivolous spending has to be cut for a while.

Ah, life! Sometimes it's just SO fun, isn't it? Sewers are pretty necessary, though, so yeah - it's good that it got taken care of, lol! Before I got my laminator I was using laminated folders from WalMart, cut to size. Not the best option, but workable. I know that a lot of people buy Duralar for their storage. You can get it at Amazon, Dick Blick, and lots of other places...
I am currently trying the pages from old "magnetic" albums instead of lamination. Cut in half and they fit perfect in 5.5 x 8.5 page protectors. Have posted questions about this on the general stamping board, but haven't heard much. I did read here a long time ago someone was using those pages.

Ouch! Not a fun purchase at all -- but oh what a necessary one!
If it makes you feel better (and I know it doesn't), I don't have a laminator or MISTI either. I kind of want both, but I also am not sure I'd get enough use out of either to make them a worthwhile purchase.

I put tack it over and over on my bare rubber and I may have done it too thick as a few of my stamps are stuck to the acetate. I have not had one single stamp fall off and the Tack it Over comes off when I rub with my fingers. I am so confused as to why your glue is not working?
I think the problem is with Aileen's Tack it over and over glue. I used this glue for the last few years to glue over 100 51/2 x 8" bare rubber sheet stamps and they are just fine. But the last 4 stamp sheets I prepared and left to dry-well I was so shocked when I opened up the drying box and they all just slid around.
I prepare mine inside an old clean pizza box where I've painted the glue on the bottom, put the stamp upside down in the box and then paint the glue on the back. I close the box to let them all dry overnight. It helps with cats in the house.
So, I think it is the Aileen's Tack it over and over glue and I think they've changed the formula. I get most of my stamps from Club Scrap. I've been with them since 2001. They are a fantastic company. Anyway, they offer in their shop their own glue which is called Mount It Adhesive. It is $9.40 for 2 oz, not cheap, but I've already ordered it. I'm sure it'll do a great job. It's made to be used on bare rubber. You can get there by going here www.clubscrap.com and you don't have to be a member to shop in their store. Just go to Store when you get to the website, look under Supplies and Tools and it's under page 2. Hope this helps.
