Default I stamp on the bed--literally!

It is coincidental that there is a scrapbox give-a-way! I was just looking these, found a retailer in my area and realized I can't afford one! Here is my big chance. See the pictures linked here:

I Stamp on my Bed Too! by jennmcd at Splitcoaststampers

I literally stamp on my bed. Yes, look closely, you will see that there is a card table on my bed that has three of the legs down and one kept up ON THE BED! Creative? Desperate. The picture is a bit old and I have compiled 3x as much stuff and usually 10x messier! I wish the contest was announced about a week ago--I just packed everything up for a move (threw it in boxes, let's be real).

We are moving next week and I will have a new room (that I will share with the guest room and computer) to store my stamping stuff, but not any more shelving or table space: I NEED the SCRAPBOX! I will have more pictures to post once we get moved--it will be interesting!

I best subscribe to this in case the judges ask any questions or comments. I'll be a little pre-occupied with the upcoming move, work, family, stamping, workshops etc.

Bless you! This is how I started out. I had about 2 ft between the bed and the closet doors. I stacked my boxes next to the bed and had a cutting board that I used as a work surface. It was always interesting when I needed to get up in the middle of the night!

I am bored b/c all my crafts are packed up for the move. I am combing these threads and thought I should bump mine up so that it gets read. Really funny, creative stories on here. Top ten reasons I NEED the scrapbox:
1) Keep my new house organized
2) After packing all my supplies I realized I have way too much and no place to store them since I will be loosing my bookshelf to the family room.
3) My 2 yr old DS likes they guy in the scrap box video; he keeps saying hi to him
4) The stamp room will also serve as a place to blow up an air mattress when we have guests so the scrab box would be great to close up when space is needed
5) I love my label maker and need to make labels for those canvas compartments
6) I am likely no more deserving than any one else, but I would be SOOOOO appreciative.
7) Once I post pictures after the move you will see why I NEED it.
DH likes to have everything in its place and the scrap box will be the place for all the craft supplies
9) I would be an efficient stamper with everthing at arm's reach; I'd be able to add more to my gallery!
10) I really, really, really WANT it!

: )

I just moved and wish you good luck getting your stamp stuff organized once you move! I had a craft area in my guest room at my old house, then once I moved I was in a hallway, the basement, and now in my kitchen (much to my husband's dismay!) Its been months and its still a work in progress. Good luck!

You're supposed to stamp on paper, silly, not the bed! It will be better in the new house so you won't need this cabinet like I do. bwaaahhhhaaa haa haa haa.

Now THAT is a creative way to work around a bed in a crafting area! I used to have a day bed in the room where my crafting stuff is, but I just used it to pile stuff up on - hardly ever as a bed, and never thought of working a table around it! Classic!

I hope the move goes smoothly - I know when we've moved I've been itchy to get my crafting supplies out again! Good luck to you!
