I had to check out that site just yesterday, because this system looks so fabulous. The dream cabinet for sure. I will be entering and will enter pictures just to show how clostrophobic (not sure of spelling but too lazy to look it up) my cramped stamp room is!! I told my sister just the other day that if I lived alone, I'd be turning my living room into my stamp room!! It's where I live all day---my stamproom!!!!

I think this prize MIGHT be worth emigrating for!!!! LOL best of luck all you Kanuks & Yankee Doodles! ;) just joking - you go for it, it sure is a fabulous prize & I am very green with envy here. I have 5 spiderman cardboard boxes and a small 2 shelf cupboard in my kitchen/dining room that I work out of on the kitchen table *sigh* ce la vis.
Wow You have cupboards???!!!
{I saw this and immediately thought HEAVEN! This is too nice to own! I am presently spread out over (4) six foot tables, in the corner of my cold gray concrete basement amongst my computer, 1000+ stamps,}
And You Have Tables?????!!! AAAh...(sigh of envy)..I have a closet where I work on a wood board on the floor....under mine and my husbands clothes....and among the fragrant shoe rack.....LOL This was the only place in the house where we had some type of shelves to put anything. All my things are border the walls inside. MY paper is in a box and some in my computer table drawer in another room. When my family is not eating dinner at times with big projects I will carry stuff there and use that but then we eat with piles of supplies all around us...So that doesn't happen too often. It's a good thing they love me.LOL I will definitely post a thread with pictures...no one has ever seen my messy closet.
WOW! What an incredible prize. I can see that there are quite a few of us that really NEED to win. I also see that there are those that do need it more than myself. I will let you win it!! ENJOY!!
OK, if it weren't for the fact that I finally convinced my husband to renovate our garage into more house with a huge craft room for myself, I would totally be all over this! My little room is overflowing and I need to get into my new room. Should be less than a week now! WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO! I can't wait to see all of the entries!
As you can see from the pictures on my gallery of my crafting area (stamp, scrapping, quilting), I'm pretty well organized! So I won't be entering the contest (even though I would love one of these cabinets!!!). But I think it is so wonderful of The Scrap Box to do this and have a couple of friends who should enter. Good luck to everyone.

This is going to be soooo much fun! I'm lucky enough to have a small craft room that I'm extremely happy with (especially since, after two days of cleaning, it's finally clean again). I'll be so happy to see all of the "hot mess" spaces posted! This is such a fantastic contest and I'm really happy for the deserving person that wins !!
Wow, what a fantastic storage space! Would love to be able to try and win this but can't enter because I live in New Zealand? Would someone like to adopt me? Good luck to all those lucky people who enter and may the worst scraping space win!!
Wow!!! I just clicked the advertisement about this a few days ago and wanted to share it with everyone. Thier site has something for everyone' craft room and even the smaller sizes are economical!
I am laughing so hard right now, I'm crying! Thank you for sharing your ...err..."adventure" with this system! I'm sitting here trying to convince my husband I NEED this, and I came across your link. I shared your antics with him and he appreciated your honesty. Not that I DON'T want one, but I know what to expect
I am lucky enough to have a 2nd bedroom in my Sr. apt. to use, so do not need this, but it is awesome. I started stamping when we lived fulltime in a motorcoach ! I was (and still am) the queen of "squirel it away". 13 yrs on the road, now "docked" for good. Good luck everyone ! N.Taylor
WOW! I need all the help I can get to get organized! This would help me to get things off the floor and to be able to find things when I need them. Sometimes I spend more time looking for something then being able to creat. Thanks so much for a chance.
Wow, all the ladies that have craft rooms.
I have my items in small boxes on a bookshelf in the workshop.
Some 3-drawer bins on wheels.
I have to drag everything I plan to use into the family room (which also has tons of mess on the floor) for projects I'm working on.
I bought a table to work on but it is cluttered due to lack of space.
Boy could I use this prize. Better get a thread going.
Oh fellow stampers, move aside and let me in!! I live in a small house with my hubbie, 4 teenagers and 2 dogs. I started stamping nearly three years ago and found my mojo but I do not have a place to allow my mojo to grow!!
If you want to know more about me please just ask, I would love to have splitcoast friends lord knows I have been a member long enough to come out and not be so shy!!
I am just working on 'Organizing'........I stamp at the kitchen table, and my supplies have overtaken my pantry....I have an armoire in the adjoining family room FULL of stamps, papers and supplies, now I am trying to empty sewing supplies out of a closet so I can make that my sewing/stamping area......
I have been looking and looking at organization- I have the closet and one wall only- i need a table to stamp on for the other wall area, so it is a bit tough to find anything that fits in the space. This is an amazing give-away- and it is very good looking as well- better thn anything I have seen so far! I will be taking photo's for entering!
What a great prize and so great of you guys to run this contest! I clicked on this link the other day and almost started salivating it's so cool LOL
But I have a nice little craft area in our family room with a workstation and a couple of cupboards placed in a large closet that clean up nicely behind lovely curtains when not in use! So good luck to all who need this - can't wait to see the entries!
This is an amazing prize!!! I've seen the ads in scrapbook mags before!!!
I'm one of the lucky one's that truly does not NEED this prize.....I have my own stamproom.....it is a mess and I'm sure something like this would help.....think of all the floor room I would gain.....*big sigh*...the greedy monkey in me wants to win it but.....this belongs to someone who doesn't have a stamproom......
I have a gf I'll tell about this contest as I know she could use it!!! She's just started scrapbooking and has nothing for organization but of course has started her stash of supplies!!!
Again....wow on this prize!!!!!! Such an amazing give away!!!!

Heard of the quote Thinking outside the box ...That's what I try to do while developping my Stampin'Up! buisness but when it comes to my work space, Working out of my dining room is my reality! Picture wise, not much to see unless you all want to see my one room appartement's dining area which i rent out of a 22 floor appartement building. My husband put up a shelf on the wall which he has alresdy had to pick up and re fasten three time. Way too much stuff for one shelf!! I've started to move some under my bed!! Shure could use it and it would actually improve the look of my dreary dining room. Would like to congratulate the Scrapbox representative for the eye catching promote! Who hasn't stop to check out that moooooving box!! Hopefull to catch me one!!

I could really use this prize! We have been in our house for over 10 years and
our basement is not finished. The family room down there is partially done, but my stamping/scrapbooking room is not even sheet rocked. I do not have any electrical outlets that are finished so I have a 50 foot extension cord running from one area that has electric into my room, then I have a power strip connected to that so I can plug in many things at once ( I am constantly tripping over the cords). I am so embarrased at my room that when I have people over for Parties I hold them up stairs in my dining room. We had planned on working in that room this summer but I have been laid off since the middle of March and my significant other has had his hours cut also. If that is not enough our daughter had a baby the end of April and she is a single mother (living with us) so we are trying to help her. In between the plastic and insulation I keep having to dig out box elder and chinese beetles because I can't stand looking at them. PLEASE, PLEASE consider me
I have loved reading all of the entries, and so creative. No, I do not need this lovely unit, and am not entering the contest. How nice of you, that are entering for a friend or family member. It will be hard to pick out 10 to be finalists tbag
I have two small children - 2 & 4 and a husband that works long hours and is very tired when he gets home.
When we first moved into our new home I organised one of the rooms as a "craft room", but unfortunately found that I didn't get to spend much time in it. If the kids came in with me the place would be destroyed in a very short space of time. Then in the evenings when the kids were in bed I'd want to spend some time with my husband, so once again I didn't get in to the craft room.
I now have a little camping table in front of the couch in the lounge room and all my, must have, supplies beside the couch. As you can imagine it isn't ideal, but at least I get the opportunity every evening to do something creative.
A cabinet like this would allow me to be in the lounge room with my darling husband in the evenings and to have my stamping and scrapping supplies all in one place. Not to mention the attractive addition to the lounge room furniture.
Good luck to everyone entering this competition as I'm sure that we'd all love to be a bit more organised.
This would be perfect for my stuff! My DH is always rummaging for some cardstock to draw his football plays on and tends to mess up the little organization I have! MY DD is rummaging for some "Art stuff"... I can organize it all and tell them ocne and for all to KEEP AWAY!
First let me say how surprised I am that so many people are so fortunate and blessed to have areas that are organized or rooms that they work out of just for creating. Good for you.
As for me, I'm very lucky in many ways in my life but having my own area or a place I can bring people into is not one of them. So, you can't imagine how much I would appreciate you selecting me.
This is my crazy situation. First, I have my paper, current products, stamp sets, etc. in a closet out in my garage. I have no door on the closet because then I would not have no room in the close because the door has to open "into" the closet. So, unfortunetly sometimes, spiders decide to invade my area. Boohoo! I also have some of my items on the floor which is just concrete.
Then, I have a tall plastic container in my bedroom, which is upstairs. It has things like my adhesive, stamp cleaners, embossing materials, glitter, booklets, punches, etc. Which is a total mess because I don't have enough room.
Then, I have a little desk in my daughter's room (who has left for college). In there I have cards that I have created, paperwork, etc. On top i have my stamp pads, and two pampered chef turnabouts that are holding my hand held punches, siccors, glue sticks, markers, etc. So, I have no room to work on that desk. Then, under the bed, I have the long stapinup worksheet papers, paper cutters, etc.
Needless to say, it's a nightmare. My work area is my dining room table. So, my crafts have taken over most of my house. In fact, my husband says he shares the bedroom with my "stampin stuff" not another man. HA!
When I have my few ladies over to stamp... I have them working in the dining room and then I put up a plastic table in the living room. It's just a nightmare. When I am preparing, I am up and down the stairs, in and out of the garage, and things become a total mess. Then it takes me days to get everything back together. Yikes!
Ladies... I really could use something that I can fit all my goodies in and a place I can work out of. You just don't know.
If you have it in your heart to give this wonderful goodie to a great person... but who is a "hot mess"..... I am your gal!
Thanks for the consideration. Your stampin' friend! Cindy
I here you about the garage and concrete floor.
My supplies on in the workshop which also has a concrete floor.
Have to hall everything to the family room (which is already partially taken over my supplies) and then try and put it all back when done.
Good luck to both of us.
My biggest thing is the work table - it has to be big, like 12 feet long BIG, well lit and I must be able to LEAVE it when I am done for the day...Sometimes one project takes over a 6 foot table by itself...Then, one day, I'll blast some music, bring out the broom/vacuum and do a clean sweep...get my area all fresh and new...and start all over again!
I just remembered, when we moved into this house this is the FIRST room I claimed...*of course the movers needed to know where to put my precious belongings, the corner of the basement by the window with a few outlets...the rest is history. The only thing I am looking for now is one of those adjustable stools that don't have arms and go UP and down...on rollers so I can zoom around my tables! haha (Oh gosh, I just got an image of myself flyin' through my craft room on a rolly chair...hot glue gun in hand...hair blowin'...wigglin' to music!) Ok back now...I would love to see someone using this 'perfect cabinet'...knowing me, I would accidently close myself in it for days...no one would find me...hahaha...

This is one of the coolest giveaways. It will be fun to keep up with this for the few weeks and glad it isn't any longer...the excitement could cause serious health problems as patience isn't one of my greatest strengths, however, working of that along with trying to figure out what could be the most creative way to win this Original Scrapbox.
It is funny how you may not pay attention to items initially and then they begin to weigh on your mind...well this is one of them. I've never really been on any thread for more than a day or so to follow it, but something about this one caught my eye and I really felt that this will benefit not only me but also my Mom and the crafting community. We are not alone...there are so many people our there that have the same issues we do with orgainization. To know that there is a possibility to meet others and share what we can do to help each others cause and move onward and upward is going to be truly the end result, however, the winning of the Scrapbox will be an added extra BONUS.
Being part of the Splitcoast Stampers community for the last few years has opened many creative and fun projects for me, my Mom and friends that otherwise would just have been the many blessings others had the opportunity to share that we can now say that we have been a part of. The new virtual friends we have made has been amazing as well. So many sharing and kind people out there that are so happy to share their talents and bless the world with them.
While my Mom and I have always been very close, we have become more involved with this craft together and have been on weekend getaways for rubberstamp conventions and it has been one of the most blessed times that we have had together and for that I thank GOD so much. We are truly enablers to each other and I cannot tell you how many times we have been chatting about the next project, what to do what to buy and where is the best place to get it and did you see the card that is on SCS...we must see what we can do with it :-) and then the phone will begin to require a charge, our comment to each other...better get the other one off the cradle, we have more talking and creating to do :-) In fact we spent over 1.5 hours on the phone yesterday on our cardmaking together and then stayed up on SCS until after 3:00 am. EST...now remember that 10:00 - 11:00 is my usual bedtime...I'm alittle "consumed" with this site, can you tell :-)
So with this all being said....I hope that this thread brings all virtual crafting buddies closer together and we continue to share not only our organizational ideas (none from me yet...that is why I am here :-) hopefully soon I'll have some to share but also many many new adventures for us! Have a blessed day.
I would love to win this just like everyone else. But I have a room, its upstairs with a balcony and I have my own bathroom too. Only because my husband is always looking out for me when we look for a house to rent. We are always moving since being active in the military. He always looks for a house that has 4 bedrooms...one being for me only. He never wants to live on military bases because he knows my stuff wont fit there in their small homes. So we live off base.
I would love for my sister to win (stamp300)...she has to stamp in the dining room with her stuff all in these Iris Carts all over the place. If she needs paper, she has to go into her girls bedroom to get it, or if she needs to emboss she has to go to the bathroom. It would be nice for her to win this cabinet so she have everything right there. They live in a 2-bedroom apartment and this would be perfect. I think stamping on the dining room table takes that family time away. It should be the time where you sit down and share and talk about everyones day over a meal. They can NEVER eat at the dining room table as a family. What is that teaching her kids? Believe me, I know...every time we visit her, we eat in her living room. Which I can't stand with a passion. I believe eating at the table is more important!
This is my opinion, please don't get offended:
If you really don't need the cabinet and have a room to stamp in, back off...and let those less fortunate then you win this beautiful cabinet. Of course, I would love to win...but my idea changed when I really thought about others like my sister who are less fortunate.
I also have noticed alot of new members here on SCS since this Give A Way has been mentioned. Are you really into being a member of SCS or you really wanting to win the cabinet? Be Honest! The only person you to need to be honest with is yourself.
Thanks for listening!

It is funny, my whole house is organized. I have the towels perfectly folded and the cupboards clean and tidy. I am a product merchandizer and manage to keep my cards, wrapping paper and ribbon at the store in great order. But my craft room seems to be void of good organization. A storage place like this would force me to clean and gut my supplies, find the ribbon I know I have bought and placed somewhere and get on with scrapping!!
well where to start!!
love crafting and more and more often I cant even start becuase I cant find anything I need. I have to tidy up every time I want to do anything!
Organization is not my strong point which follws me through the house...
I adopted 2 Girls 4 and 5yrs just over 2 years go and so I have an additional 2 people worth of 'stuff' to add to my chaotic house!
To have special storage system like this would be amazing.
I think I need to show you a selection of pictures!
Jane
I am in desperate need of organizational help! I have a room that I originally set aside for all of my crafting, but all it is now is one big mess! I have started organizing, put all my stamps in bins with a notebook showing which bin each stamp is in and my paper is separated into colors but that is as far as it has gone. It is sooo unorganized that I am stymied! I could certainly use your products. They would be a perfect fit in my "craft" room.
As you can see by my photos, I can't even work in my craft room. When ever I need to make a card or anything else, it overflows into my dining area! And it stays that way until I finish my project.
