Default Need a new place to call my own

Wow! When I saw this giveaway, I just had to respond. Okay...here's my story:

A few years back by an act of God, we had a terrible sewer back up in our basement and I ended up getting a hugh stamping/crafting studio...sometimes good things come out of a bad situation. The insurance took care of all our losses and that $$$ was used to create my studio. It was great. I had room for all my craft supplies, a hugh room where I could fit two large tables for classes, a bathroom, kitchenette and a place to call my own. I was in heaven! I also for the first time reached my 20K!

Unfortunately through my busy SU schedule, my life went downhill from there. Well, let's start with...my husband had extra-curicular activities (with one of my friends none the less). I gave it my all to work, to save what we once had many years ago, but he just wasn't interested in me anymore, so after struggling with the situation (and the fact that he blamed my business as "taking time away from the family", I lost all interested in stamping, felt guilty just going down to my stamp heaven and had to make a decision.Anyhow, during my daughter's senior year, I filed for divorce.

He wasn't going anywhere, so I had to look for a new place to live. I did and my daughter moved out with me, thus losing my "stamp heaven". I have since moved into an apartment but found a place where I could have a little bit of "stamp heaven", so I traded my daughter my TV for her computer desk, filled a hutch with my stamps, etc (which had been used for his clothes), stashed closets here, there and everywhere wtih extra business supplies and other items and made due. Well, I'm sure you all know how much "stuff" we stamers have and what a struggle it is to keep it all organized not to mention frustrating at the same time. This hutch would solve all my problems (and maybe get my TV back too). I would so love to have this to fill up with my supplies so I could have organization and happiness all at the same time.

Yeah...it's been quite a struggle but I am now living and finally back into the swing of things in my personal and stamping life and I am happy...but I would be happier with the storage unit and a cherry on top of the sundae which I have found. Thanks for reading...keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed that I am in the running of this beautiful station.

Hummm, this sounds like a needy case. BTW bravo for you getting on with your life! We all know how much stamping is therapy, even organizing your stamping stuff is therapeutic.

Congrats on the strength to go on. I have to say it, some friend! Rotten dog.

That doesn't mean you get my cabinet though. You'll have to lose a limb or something to get that. Maybe two. However, if you stamp with your toes the desk will be too high and you won't need the scrapbox anymore. hmmmm.
