I read somewhere to use sticky back album pages to store clear stamps (the kind you peel the page back and insert pictures). You stick your stamps on the outside and you can put the stamped image on the inside sticky part. All then goes into a transparency cover and into a notebook.
Has anyone tried this and do the stamps stay put? Is this type plastic OK for stamps? I don't want to soften or ruin any stamps. This would be great for me if it's a safe storage solution.......Let me know . thanks.
I just starts using these. The ones I have I got from Target and they were $5 for a pack of 25. It certainly does not seem like acetate and as far as I know that is mostly an issue with EZ mount which I don't use. I have been cutting them down and putting them into the Tim Holz binder refill pouches to make sure none get lost if they do fall off. However, in the last two months none of mine have fallen off and none have shown any changes.
Thanks for the information. I think this will work well for me. I have a couple of magnetic albums marked "Photo Safe, acid and PVC emission free". The pages are a little smaller than 8.5 x 11 so I am sure they will fit transparency covers( marked archieval safe). I am really excited that I might get some organization done.
