As long as they are A2 or smaller, they fit nicely in photo boxes. If they are enveloped or prefolded bases, you can stand them up in the box, as long as they are oriented horizontally. I have some prescored bases that are also in a photo box, but obviously flat. (6x6s will fit, too, you just can't stand them up in the box.)
I have all of mine in file folders at the front of the filing cabinet drawer where all of my cardstock is. The pre-scored cards are not folded, and stand up on one side of the folder, with the coordinating envelopes next to them in the same folder. Card bases that have no matching envelopes and/or that are odd sizes (4" square, 3 1/2" x 5", etc.) are in a basket on a shelf where I can grab it quick to see if I have a base the right color/size before I make one...
I just purchased an Iris card keeper, I paid heaps for the shipping, the box was a lot cheaper, but I live in Australia, I love it, a plastic box with a hinged lid and a index.
