Default What's it called and where can I fiind it??

I'm looking for a display thingy for clip-up stuff. It's on a stand, sits on a desk, (maybe 12" high?) and twirls. It has 1 metal circle around the top and that is where you clip stuff. Sorta looks like an old fashion wooden handle stamp holder but it's just round, not able to slide anything on or off without clips.

I'm pretty darn sure that if you weren't confused before I posted, you are now! I have really no idea what it's called or where to even find great little storage solutions that aren't "run of the mill" stuff.

Thanks!! I figure somebody out there will filter through that mess of a description and have a solution!

Seriously? The thing I want to clip up things is called a "clip it up?"

I will now accept my award for "Least likely to be in advertising".

Where do I find it? And are there different types? Like sizes etc?

Such a dork.

I just clicked the link as I was curious! I kind of have one of these that i made myself from a stainless steel mug tree that has hooks for the mugs, i hang things off these hooks and it works a treat. I have punched holes using the bigest hole punch on the cropodile on statinery envelopes which make little pockets for PP scraps and my foam pads etc, mine evolved really but is so handy!!!

I bought mine at Scrapbooking Supplies - Discount Scrapbook Paper and Products about four years ago. At the time, it had the lowest price for the base unit and top tier, plus a flat $5 shipping. They discontinued their bargain shipping a couple years ago and I notice the price has increased by about 25% since 2008. OUCH!

I know that a few years ago, there were several people that gave directions about how to make your own. I have never done it, but here is a You Tube link on how you can:

(not my video - I have just watched it and considered making one...)

I made one of these a couple years ago.

Have the stuff to do more, just need to get around to doing it. And it is much cheaper that buying the clip it up!

I have seen them in the Aaron Brothers Art stores, and you probably have one close to you in Mansfield or Fort Worth. They often have 40% and 50% coupons with their ads, though I haven't seen a coupon since Christmas.

I bought something similar at Michaels - Recollections branded for about $20.
