Happy Mix-Ability day! It's Friday, and I don't know about you, but here at my house, the last few weeks have been pushing me along. There have been so many extra things going on that my brain is on overload, and I find myself winging it most days, just doing all the things.

I thought wings could be a fun addition to our projects this week, in celebration of winging it, and to take some time to think about lovely things with wings instead of to-do lists for a change! There are a few different ways you can make that happen:

--use an image of a winged thing - a fairy, bird, butterfly, insect, airplane, etc.

- or -

--add wings to an unlikely thing - a person, a hippo, whatever strikes your fancy

- or -

--use a card format that folds out on both sides - a double diamond card, gate fold or double gate fold, double Z fold, etc.

Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HERE for a list of supplies you could choose from. If you want to start these challenges in the pages of an art journal instead of a card, or on scrapbook pages, or on 3D items - please know - ANYTHING is welcome! We want you to learn and enjoy!
