So my friend Kat - beadfreak22 - does an art challenge with her mom & sister every week, and sometimes she shares them with us. She is incredibly creative, and I love seeing her take on the challenges. One in particular really grabbed me and made me laugh so I asked if I could base today's challenge on her end result. I call it "The Chimera" - specifically Chimera Cat!
She took different stamp images and put them together to form a new creature, and that is our challenge today! Get out your animals, people, monsters, whatever, and use masking or paper piecing to make them into a new hybrid creature! I think these would be fun in art journals, so remember, your creation doesn't have to be a card!
You need to use at least two mediums on your work and you need to have fun - I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Here's the gallery of fanciful creatures for this challenge.
After spitting up my coffee looking at these unique creations...I am inspired and so the challenge is on!! What a cool idea!! Hope I can come up with something!!

Took a stamped Santa with his sack image and sentiment, and added a bear in a party hat. This is to commemorate the coming of patriotic Santa Bear, who brings the children fireworks in his recycled green sack! Added some reverse dc stars and some shiny embellies. Here's Patriotic Santa Bear
