Hostess: Scrapacat (Ky) Keyword:MIX558 Challenge: Superstitions Date: October 6, 2023
Finally FALL!! Well, almost, here in the southern US. October is a busy month with school, activities, changing the decor, and embracing the change of wardrobes. It's also a bit spooky...boo! Let's have some fun with it!
The challenge is to be inspired by or represent any superstitions you may have. Black cat and a ladder? Stepping on a crack? How about something I always do - I say Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit first thing on the first of the month. Maybe you don't buy into superstitions but you DO have some creature habits that fall brings out. Let everything fall and spooky show up in your work!
Don't forget to use the keyword MIX558 when you post your project. You can make anything - a card, a journal page, a scrapbook page, whatever floats your boat! Just be sure to use 2 or more different art mediums. Have fun!

I'm not superstitious at all, so I really had to think. I know there are many superstitions around birds, I choose to think my little chickadee is singing from the west, which brings a good harvest! I went a little tongue in cheek here using a dictionary page with the word superstitious, just in case, lol.
