Hey ShariW! I saw in one of your postings the other day that you were in the process of indexing your unmounted rubber for use in the MISTI. Rather than hijack another thread I thought I'd create a new one.
So, how do you do it? I've tried several different methods and none of them satisfy.
Hi Cyndie, just a hint that if you look at the SCS thread on Mission Organization you will find tons of ways people store their stamps and if you post your question in that thread you will get a lot more responses.
OK . . . I don't know where to post this answer so I'm just going to do it right here! I am actually cutting card stock the size of the stamp/stamp sets, pick them up with the MISTI lid and stamp. I put the name of the set on top and I'm storing them in zip sandwich bags. I can't afford to buy any other kind of storage. However, I do have a 46 drawer storage cabinet that my husband made and am able to lay them flat in the drawers, thus I am also putting the drawer number on the card. I am also taking photographs of each set with my iPad and setting up albums so when I am looking for something I just zoom through my photos. I've actually done the photographing of all of my SU sets in the cases which really helps me find things quickly. And I've put my stamp set/Framelits together in one case and have an album with only those sets AND I have an album with the stamp sets that lend themselves to using my Spectrum Noir inks.
Please feel free to move this answer to where it actually goes! I'm sorry :(.

Wow, you've got a great system there! Thanks for the info--I'd better get cracking.
Cyndiestamps . . . I am adding a snap of a picture I took of the new albums I made after stamping the indices for several sets. I took the pictures with my iPad. Having the MISTIFIED has mad things so easy. By the way, this is what I describe above.

I use Evernote to catalogue all my stamps, dies, digi-images, inks etc. What I love most about it, is that I can view it on my iphone and ipad, so if I'm out shopping I can quickly check before I buy the same ink pad yet again!
