Default Everyday Flexible Phrases Tip Sheet for mounting this set

Hello! My very wonderful friend Cindy J. created this spreadsheet to help her figure out how to mount the stamps for the set "Everyday Flexible Phrases" found on p. 195 of the current IBC.

The set has 56 words, but only 28 blocks, so you have to double up the words and she thought this might be the best combination.

Worked for me, so I thought I would share!

Melanie

(p.s.--this is an Excel worksheet. If you don't have Excel or if you have difficulty downloading this, PM me and I will email it to you.)

Thank you so much, I've had the set for a bit. I'd put some together and mounted a few 'singles' to use but was have trouble with some of the pairings. This has some great suggestions. So I finally put it together, with just a couple adjustments because of starting without it. I'm very excited to use them now!!
It's Great!! Thanks!
PS. I printed the sheet out and put it in my with my stamps for easy reference.

Thanks for sharing. I'm just starting out, so I'd never even thought about HOW I was going to mount them! (Or the fact that I've got some cutting and mounting ahead of me!)

Default Everyday Flexible Phrases

Thanks a million! This is great. I purchased the set, yet it sits on the shelf unmounted for fear that I wasn't going to have the right "system" to mounting the words. Thanks again.

That is a great idea! I just wish that I had seen it before I put my set together over the weekend. But I may use it and just change it for the ones I put on different stamps. Thanks.

I mounted mine alphabetically w/ the stickers in alpha order on top. This way, they are all easy to find!

Default another way to help...

For anyone who interested, so that you do not have to mount two stamps per block would be to keep them unmounted and use the Creative Cling foam that TAC sells. You would then use an acrylic block to stamp. All of your stamps can be easily stored in a CD case too

I also taped that spread sheet in the lid of the box so it was easier to locate the stamps.

Default Mounting Charts

I'm attempting to upload my Word Doc of how I mounted my three Flexible Phrases sets.

The first two I combined "like" words. But after reading about how others have mounted alphabetically on top and bottom (instead of bottom and side) with the stickers on the same side. I'm going to try that with my new Fancy Flexible Phrases.

I hate to re-type things, so here's my file if it helps you. I printed the Fancy chart at 75% so it would fit vertically in box lid.

Have fun mounting! Here I go to cut!

How exactly does that work? Have a lot of people done it and think it works better than mounting on the blocks?

I have unmounted all my stamps (well almost all of them). They are all stored in cd cases. I have mounted them on EZMount. I actually have a tutorial on my blog if you're interested.
