This is my version of a covered Altoids tin with a removable accordion album. I altered the instructions slightly from the resources tutorial that is listed here: //www.splitcoaststampers.com/ee...ian_album_tin/
Caution- I dont know if others of you have experienced problems but I found the scoring measurements from the above tutorial to be a little off. I found that each panel should be scored exactally 2 1/8" apart.
Using info from the above tutorial link as a guide I created an instructional word attachment and will post it below.
I also computer-generated the verses and will attach them as well. I want to give credit to stampin4smiles. She posted the cute tag Thank You poem idea here: //www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...?si=aunt%20tin
I'd love to open these files but I get a nasty message that I don't have permission to access these pages. Is it possible for you to please paste them into this thread so those of us who aren't demos could open them as well.
Your tin is awesome. I'd love to be able to use your directions please!
I just edited the above post and re-attached the instructions and bible verses again. I think I fixed the problem. The first mentioned thread link listed in my write up is a demo only thread so that is why I posted here as well. Hopefully this thread should work for all. Sorry for the confusion. Nan
Nan, this so wonderful and thank YOU for all the written instructions and Bible verses. This is something my father-in-law would love to receive as his faith is so important to him. And this is great for me since it is difficult for me to find anything to give to him. Thanks for the great idea!!
I've been given several Altoids tins and can never quite figure out whether I should cover both the top and bottom, or should I try to paint them before altering the top. What do you all do?
