I have done more scrapping this month than I have for a long time. Last count I think I was at 17 pages completed. It feels so good to be back in my room. I want to finish up my Germany trip, then onto our new grandson and his big brother.
My Christmas tree is still upstairs too. It is undecorated - but with our renos, I don't want to put it away where it belongs until that room is repainted. So maybe I won't have to bring my tree upstairs next year -- it just might still be there

Last weekend I was at a retreat and got 15 pages done. It's not even mid Jan and I managed to make my goal. Can't wait to see what the rest of the month brings. Hope everyone is having a good start with the New Year.

Hey Deb! I was hoping someone would chime in about still not having Christmas over with ;)!! My excuse is that we were gone the first week in January but now I'm scrambling for another good excuse now that we are unpacked, laundry is all caught up from trip, DS sent back to university, etc. I do want to clear out all of the decorations that I didn't use this year (and probably for the last 5 years!) before I get started. What I REALLY want to do is go up to my scrap attic but I dare not yet;). Wish me luck!!
It makes me happy to know I'm not the only one who got the Christmas decorations down later than usual :-) Mine only came down this weekend and up into the attic on Sunday. However, I have the next three weekends booked: VSBN, Girls Getaway, and Girl Scout Camporee...so unless I wanted to wait until Valentine's Day...;-) Sure wish there was a scrap retreat in there for me so I can get pages done. I can't believe how many you all are getting completed...looks like the gallery will be full tonight when I get there! Maybe I should get off-line and get moving...that might work too!
Well I got my Christmas tree down and back in the garage, but I still have not gotten everything else packed back away. I still have stocking hanging. I have gone back into my scrap room. I figure if it bothers my DH, he can help do it ;)

Oh Christmas Tree!!!!!
Um, yep. Mine may be up until February this year, and that's okay. It's at the way bottom of the list of things to do this year and since my word is "less" I'm going to apply that and worry "less" about what the neighbours think when they see my Christmas tree still up! :-)

Rock on! Who cares what the neighbors think about a Christmas tree still being up.

So true, ladies! DH could help, I *should* worry less about what the neighbors (and mom!) think, and, lastly, I *should* get off-line and get moving, too!!! Thanks - you all made my day . Think I'll get DH and see what we can get done in an hour or two or less ;). Have a great day!!!
Oh ladies, it's funny how we let what others think influence how we feel about ourselves..... I intentionally don't like to rush to take my decorations down and never quite thought about what the neighbors thought......
With my 2 yr old, I have to put things up and down in stages so it might take me a week, but I decorate for my seasons when he's not around to "help" me.. I use the flylady philosophy and break it down and sometimes only do 15 mins at a time...and dh just goes with the flow ;)... he knows if he complains he gets the job....

Thanks so much, Lela! I will definitely be with you this weekend (even if I don't have all of my Christmas decorations put away yet :oops. I'm so glad I have an a very understanding DH!!
Don't feel bad about the decorations. Most of the tree ones have been put away but DGS wants the tree kept up with just the lights on it so....we'll see when it goes down!

Kelli those cards are fabulous! What a clever idea!
You guys rock with all the pages getting done! I have been hit and miss checking the gallery but I might catch up tonight if my daughter is actually getting sick...
Type the word you want (example: Page 1) and then when you add the link, highlight "Page 1" and add the link "on it". Hope that helps! I was excited to see a question I coudl answer, LOL!
I was able to get the words to show up but when I click on them it doesn't take me to the my page, any idea on what I might be doing wrong?

I had the directions saved from somewhere on SCS...
Making your URL address into word description!
Type your message in the advanced window (click Go Advanced below the Quick Reply box).
Type whatever word/phrase you want to link.
Open another tab or window (I do this in tabs. In Windows (not sure about Macs) there is a small square to the right of the tab at the top of your screen below the address bar. If you put your arrow over that small square, you will see a paper and star appear. Click that box.
Go to the page you want to hyperlink in your gallery.
Copy the address (url) in the address box (you can right-click and copy).
Go back to the first tab with your message and highlight the word or phrase you want hyperlinked.
Click the icon above the message box with the globe and chain link in it.
A pop up box will appear.
***Take out the http:// in that box (if you accidently have it twice your link won't work).
Right click and paste (or type Control + v).
Click OK.
You should see your highlighted words become surrounded by html code (brackets, all caps, etc.).
If this doesn't work, you'll need me to come visit! LOL!
I started to read through this thread, but I had to stop when I realized it was 11 pages long! So, anyway... please add me. I really need to get things accomplished around here before I forget too many of these precious memories.
I'd like to finish 12 in January. Also, I am working on a grandparents book (of my grandparents life history) to be completed by the end of January.
Not feeling well tonight, I have this nasty cough that comes along every time I get a cold and here it is again!!! Anyways, between bouts of coughing I finished up a page I started last night and began the planning for 3 more pages. I truly hope to make my goal of 15 this month and I think this is number 5. C is for...
Thanks for looking.

Good Morning Everyone!
So I looked at your links yesterday and I went to Patter Cross's blog. I had continued to follow her even after she stopped being on Unity's DT because I love that she had religious things and I loved her organizational tips. Anyways, during the moments I couldn't sleep last nigth (which it seems way too early to already be happening in this pregnancy) I decided I was going to do it. At first I thought I wouldn't but it's only the 2nd week and I think I can get caught up quickly. So I wanted to say Thanks Jennipher for inspiring me to do the scripture challenge!
