Hi Valerie!
I have PSE 7.0... I know there's now an 8.0, but the sales guy said little ole me won't notice the difference... the Bamboo tablet was way more important to me than the updates! :-) Am really crossing fingers to try a page tonight!!! :-)
Here is my first page of 2010. It took me all afternoon, not so much the scrapping as the organizing the book and putting all the pages in order...maybe I was just stalling on getting started. Cake and pasta are food groups.
Very cute! When you upload the page, add the keyword SBC10JAN so that anyone who just brings up the gallery for January can see it too (in case they miss your post!)

I must have been reading your mind, Terry. I just came on here to say the very same thing.
It's all a little overwhelming for newcomers--so many challenges and ideas. But as us long-timers know -- one of the BEST ways to get your work seen, and the quickest way to see the pages of others in this thread is to addSBC10JAN (for this month), SBC10FEB for next month's pages, etc. Then, as Terry said, if anyone searches for those key words, they'll find your stuff!! Easy Peasy!!
I would like to rejoin for this year with a goal of 6 pages a month. I would also like to put in a matching/spending goal. I know that I will buy supplies since I am a stress shopper but I will commit to a one-to-one spend/save goal (so for every $1 spent, another $1 goes into savings).
I've already got a good start on my pages for the month - click here to see my first 3 pages:
What a GREAT start! Keep Scrappin' GF!
I have added everyone to the list so your goals "are committed" ... LOL!
No pressure but let's see how close we can come to 100% for everyone completing their pages!
Oh my....I better get busy!

I am up to 7 of my 12 pages for the month! They are all still my December Daily album. Loving this digital thing! I can sit here quite lazily and still get something done! Yeay!
Also! I did recieve the "fun envie" from November, and I intend to pass it on to LIZ tomorrow! That was fun, and the cards are beautiful- whoever they are from!

Will do. I read that after I posted and since I am on an air card for my internet I didn't try to go back and change it. I pay for my service according to the band width I use and since I have not been uploading for a long time I have no idea what the cost will be. Anybody else use an air card for internet?

This is really pretty. Love the mask and the border.
It's really easy to upload your digi pages into your gallery too! Just remember to use the SBC10JAN keyword so everyone can view and have the chance to comment on it. It's beautiful!
Just checking in and saying Good Morning! I plan on scrapping today...
and putting plug in for my swap.... We could still use some more peoples! Check it out by clicking the pink link in my siggy!
I had checked it out...I just know I won't have time this go around to do it. I've already prepared 88 cards for the next church meeting and since it was canceled :( I feel like I need to make double for the Feb meeting. AND I've got to make myself sit down and start doing DH business entries! Lots of deadlines for Jan 30 will be coming up quicker than I plan.....;) And I still want to do scrapping!

Never heard of an air card for internet...but then, I'm still trying to figure out how cell phones work. LOL!
Holy cow this forum is moving!!! I realized I never checked in at the beginning of the month.
I am revamping my scrap approach this year. Rather than go for quantity I want to go for quality.
So my goal for each month will be 6 pages, with emphasis on completing 3 fairly substation books I want to order. (Normally I scrap individual pages in a non-chronological way... so to commit to books is a big deal for me!)
Anybody have a bind it all? What's your reco on whether it's worth it or not? I got some $ for Christmas and wondered if it's worth investing in once you throw in supplies... is it like exercise equipment sitting with ribbons/bows on it and dust?
Thanks!

Go Denise! I'll be watching for your layouts. The ones I've seen are always so neat. I know what you mean about individual pages. That's the way I've been scrapping...nothing is in any kind of order. I just scrap as the mood or the challenges speak to me! Good for you to do the books. Val (fresshe) has done quite a few books lately. They are so cool.

Have mine and LOVE IT. I like creating little mini books with it. I will probably do a blog post in the next couple days about some cute little mini scrapbooks I created and used it with.

Thanks!!! I did a book last summer about a vacation we took a year ago... it was 84 pages long, and it was like gestating a child! I was so happy to be done with it. It just got sooo hard because it was hard to be inspired by the same theme/same photos to see the project to completion.
I don't know if I shared a link to the book here or not... but here it is on my blog (and the image links to the stored book on MyPicTales).

Most of my scrapbook layouts for the year are in this book! LOL.
For the upcoming year I want to finish both a wedding and a honeymoon album. It's our 10 year anniversary in May....
OMG, Denise -- your book is amazing -- awesome- spectacular!! You DESERVE to be proud!!! I'm like you--it's hard to scrap a lot in chron order or with a theme. What an accomplishment to scrap the entire vacation and that many pages--all cohesive, delightful to the eye and fluid. I'm in awe!!!! How very inspiring. Wow!

Denise - what a gorgeous book. I certainly took notes with how you managed to put so many photos on one page. I have to get my head around that "it's okay" to not have to see the entire picture. Pieces of it are so effective. Thanks for sharing this. I know I'll go back to it again and again.

Hey Girls!
I am working to figure out PSE. It's the steep learning curve I figured, but there are lots of basics from my previous desktop publishing that I know will make sense if I could only make it out of the gate, kwim?! :-) I'm reading and re-reading the how to info on designerdigitals.com and jessicasprague.com and really hope to have it figured out so I can start scrapping this weekend even!
The CM+ is such a lovely program, why oh why isn't it Mac compatible?!?! lol
Hope you all're enjoying a scrappy evening!
