Thanks for the well wishes and support. Doctor didn't put me on bed rest, but told me to stay off my feet. Also, had my ultrasound and the baby's legs were SHUT! So we don't know if its a boy or girl!

So glad you are not on bedrest, that is my worst fear I was for a few weeks with my first, but now just under 3 months to go, unlike you my little peanut was cooperative, another girl, I hope you get to find out at some point, those stubborn little things!!!

Holiday Season is the time of year when we focus on Spreading love and cheer to our loved ones. We do extra to show that we love, appreciate, and care about others.
Today I have an easy challenge. Today your layout should be about some one you will be including in your holiday celebrations. You can use the quotes as inspiration or as a title on your page.
Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love.
-- Hamilton Wright Mabi
If there is no joyous way to give a festive gift, give love away.

Hi, Anavon
It's cold in Illinois today. I'm not complaining because it didn't snow until Dec. 3rd. Woo Hoo! I was able to do so much more in Nov. than almost any other year. Oh, except for I did less pages last month.

Well I'm in for 0 as that has been my results for the last few months....oh wait...I think I did get 1 page dones last month :(
So...0 for December with the hopes of catching up. But I'm not holding my breath. I've got a lot of sewing/quilting to get done before Christmas. Why oh why do I wait until the last moment. Some day I may learn and reduce my stress.
I am very glad for all the inspiration this past year. I have probably scrapped more for it. I'm looking forward to next year and maybe I will stay on my game.

My slow start and wanting to watch Shelli (from Stampin' Up!) on the "Today" show this morning has set me back sooooo far, but it was worth it. I think she done a fantastic job for the time allotment. (the whole segment seemed rushed... It was the very last minute of the day!) I think she answered very clearly and thoughtfully and was able to highlight and draw attention the the most important part of what we do.
Here is the link to Shelli's "Today" show spot for those who missed it and would like to see it.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to you gals. I haven't scrapped since the summer :( Hoping to get some done over the winter break but am not holding my breath. I also just applied for a graduate program so that will but an even bigger dent into my scrapping but it'll be worth it.
I've been trying to look at ya'll pages just have had time to comment. You ladies are doing an awesome job!

Just wanted to tell everyone that I am leaving for vacation in the morning and want to tell everyone to have a very productive couple of weeks. Keep up all of your great work so I will have plenty to comment on when I return! I sure hope the rain in Florida stops by tomorrow and the sun stays out for the next 12 days!

Unfortunately we'll be having a wetter week than normal but I'm sure that their will be enough sun too. I still haven't gotten to Mouse Memories...hoping for Tuesday but if not then I have to wait until the following week.

How fun for you all...Lanita's a nurse (if I'm remembering correctly)...you may all just work together one day ;-)
Hey Lela,
If you think about it for 2010 and want to make life easier for me, can you include the monthly keyword as part of the Title, I see that in other challenges and I think it may help me remember what to use and to actually use it when I uploaded instead of hunting through the posts.
Thanks so much, I appreciate all you do, just thinking this could be helpful for myself and others.

and hopefully the snow doesn't cause any travel issues for you, I know hubby is on reserve in Detroit and has a feeling he may actually fly the next couple of days due to all the crazy weather and chances of snow, etc, etc

I just finished up 2 layouts that I started back in September. Boy does it take a long time to look thru all my digi files to find the "right" embellishments! You would think I would remember it all by now considering how many times I look thru them. LOL! Thanks for Looking!

Some of you have card goals, mini-albums, gift items and of course scrap pages...it will be easier to update monthly and just think how fun it will be to look back and see just how much you accomplished in 2010 craft year.
18. February Mini-Challenge Our Feb Mini-Challenge will be Feb 26 & 27. Be sure to put the date on your Calendar and come Share the Love with us for our Mini-Challenges that weekend!

Well, with the exception of my layout for the recent mini VSBN, I haven't uploaded a layout on SCS for nearly a year. I thought I'd make an effort to add a little to my gallery, so I'm sharing a layout tonight!
(I'm not a fan club member, so I'm not sure if the upload will be visible tonight or not.)
This past year and a half I have been focused on quantity - getting a number of pages done, so I haven't wanted to spend much time getting them ready for upload and uploading them to various sites. I think for the next year I'm going to change my strategy and tell myself I will limit myself to scrapbooking only a limited number of pages per month - to allow me to focus on telling the important stuff instead of thinking in terms of volume. I don't know what the right answer is, but at the end of the day, for me, I think it's more important that I feel proud of what I accomplish because it tells the story, not because I've met x number of layouts for the month.
I think it's a lesson learned from doing Project 365 this year too. When I started, I thought if I force myself to do things in terms of volume, it'll keep me active, and it'll force me to learn purely thru the process of doing so much. But I've also learned that at times it felt forced to try to meet an arbitrary number, so I think next time I want to try to limit myself to creating (either thru scrapping or thru photography) only the BEST QUALITY I can produce, and not create just for the sake of pumping them out.
So that's why I have uploaded this tonight - it's my effort to slow down and enjoy the process of creating from start to finish a little bit more.
