This is great! I took a canvas class a couple of years back at my LSS and I just loved it. Purchased quite a few canvases in hopes of doing more but have never got around to it. You did a fantastic job. :p

Here's a digi-page I did using a new kit that Erika (slprunning) from Inkin' Creations designed using some element and paper suggestions from me. It's a collab with another talented gal named Vicki who designs as DigiLovers Addiction. They even named the kit after me --Wendy's Summer Picnic. Check out my page and the link there to the kit:

Today's 52 Week Challenge!
Summer isHere.
And with that comes all my favorite activities, like EATING, hanging out at the BEACH, B-B-Ques, fishing, swimming, playing volleyball, family reunions and PICNICS! So my challenge to you is for you to fill your picnic basket with all those wonderful pictures of summer. You can use any colors of summer that you would like; you just have to start with a brown or kraft base. (You know your picnic basket!) Fill it up! Using multiple pictures and colors. Along with my sample today I have included our familys favorite picnic sandwich. Bonus Points if you use a "Burma Shave" slogan as part of your journaling.
Family Club Muffuletta
(Makes 4 8 servings)
Prep Time: 30 min Total Time: 30 min
What You Need!
3 tomatoes, sliced
2 green onions, sliced
1 green pepper, cut into strips
3/4 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
3 Tbsp. Italian Dressing
1 round Italian bread loaf (1-1/2 lb.)
3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
5 slices of Swiss Cheese or Provolone cheese
5 slices of Cheddar cheese
1 pkg. (9 oz.) Roasted Turkey Breast
1 pkg. (9 oz) smoked Ham
8 strips of cooked bacon
2 cups torn leaf lettuce
To Make It!
TOSS first 4 ingredients with Italian dressing; let stand 10 min.
MEANWHILE, cut bread horizontally in half; hollow out each half, leaving 1/4-inch-thick shell. Discard removed bread or reserve for another use. Spread insides of bread shells with mayonnaise.
DRAIN vegetable mixture; discard dressing. Layer meats, cheeses, vegetable mixture and lettuce on the bottom half of the bread; cover with top of bread. Cut into wedges.
OK, so I don't have a new scrapbook page to share (hopefully tomorrow), but I just had to share with you two cards that I made yesterday. I have always envied my twin sister's stamping abilities--you should check out her gallery because she is awesome! Here is her gallery:

Hello everyone.
Just finished catching up on the thread.
Great layouts everyone.
Val- your digi challenge and sample are totally cool.
Jonah's Mommy- yes, you definitely can stamp and make cards. Those came out great. Thanks for sharing.
Anavon- Love your challenge and sample page this week.
Candy- Thanks again for the much needed card you sent me.
I've personally had a tough couple of days and need to scrap but, just not sure where I want to start. I spent the morning getting lots of inspiration online but now, I'm overwhelmed as to what I want to start with. Hope you all have had a good day and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your pages. ;)
Congratulations to All! Thank you to all that played and participated. I hope when you get the chance you still go back and visit some of these wonderful challenges!

Awesome page Wendy! You must be an early bird though as I know you are 2 hrs behind me time zone wise and it's awfully early where you are! Glad to see you are using your scrapping to get you through the rough patch this month!

I'm just now joining this challenge. My baby is due in 25 days and I'd love to get some more pages of my son's first trip to Disney done before she arrives. My only catch is that I also need to make a bunch more thank you cards for all the gifts that I've been receiving lately. I'll set a June goal of 5 pages. That should be doable. So far this year I've only done about 9 pages, but I'm a school SLP and am now off for summer, so I should be able to get more done this month.
