Buy some alcholhol. Add your favorite color ink. Make a martini. Or a daquiri. Or a Margharita. Or just drink it neat and get some great inspiration! ;) ;) ;)

Does anyone ever drink the alcholhol ink? Does it taste any good? I would think it would be a good cure when the stamping just isn't going well....

There's a new book out, The Rubber Stamper's Bible, by Francoise Read, that has very easy to follow instructions and photos about working on velvet, and many other techniques.

I use "direct to paper" with the metallic stamp pads. It makes an especially nice effect on torn or irregulaly cut edges.
