Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a "TEApotter" the first time you play. Where will YOU find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something about the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending you card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement, but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: casep/Pat
CHALLENGE:
My challenge this week is to use a tag on your card.
CARD TYPE/ THEME: Cheerful, Thing of You, Sunshine, Hello, Belated Birthday, Religious/Spiritual cards welcome as well.
Our own Lisa, aka ShoeGirl, requested a teaparty for her uncle, Neil, who is really needing some cheering up. Neil has cancer and knows that he has very limited time. Lisa says her aunt (Chris) and Uncle Neil would be thrilled to receive some happy thoughts from her teapot friends. This is the only uncle Lisa has and she cherished him and her aunt. Neil's birthday was October 9th, so belated birthday card would be welcome too. Neil used to be a fireman and was also a fire chief for Carson and Barnes Circus. He also loves softball and buffalos. All aboard? Let's head to Indiana.

Be sure to use Keyword MMTPT638 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCA Teaparty Request in the subject line.

I am going to send this card from my stash to Chris. Since this is a baseball card and it sits there unused, I think this gentleman will enjoy receiving it.
Pat here is my card going to IN. Lisa I am sorry to hear about your uncle.

Thank you Pat for hosting for my wonderful uncle Neil and my aunt Chris. This is going to bring a big smile to them both. Here is my card for my uncle.
On my goodness, I am so glad I checked this. I will see what I can do because I know how special and important these wonderful homemade cards are. My dad's birthday would have been October 8th so I understand how Lisa feels, especially with this being her only uncle and aunt too. Take care. ~Karen.
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
LOVE the Mickey fireman-- I'm a Mickey fanatic... I will check my Cricut Cartridges... might have a fireman in there somewhere in my 31 cartridges. I will send a card to each, Neil and Chris. Lisa, sorry for your uncles health, I will be praying for all. I have one uncle left as well, my brother and I live in PA and he lives in Arizona... he is 96 and I know we'll never get the chance to see him again. How precious our family members are to us...
There's a herd of one buffalo headed to Neil's home in IN. Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about your Uncle. I hope these card bring him some smiles. Prayers for him and your family. Here's my card:
Lisa - my prayers for your Uncle & Aunt. How beautiful that they are looking for sunshine and happy thoughts during this time. I only hope my goofy smiley faces will put a smile on theirs!

I want to thank everyone that took the time to send my aunt and uncle cards in October. Sadly my uncle passed away this morning. My aunt was very thankful for the wonderful cards everyone sent to them and all the kind words. From my heart to yours thank you for being card angels.
