Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!

CHALLENGE: Our recipient this week loves camping in her camper, but let's try our hands at making tent cards for her. Here are some suggestions for tutorials you might like to use: Swinging Tent Card Acetate Tent Card Tent Card Tent Topper Card
If you are fun-fold challenged as I am, don't worry. The challenge police will not come knocking if you forego the tent card today and just let your card be inspired by the teapot, cookies, or recipient.

Karen (Redbugdriver) has requested this week's Tea Party for her daughter, Susan (don't call her Sue!). Susan has been undergoing radiation treatment for breast cancer. She is 42. She has a blue tic hound dog named Ranger. She also has a camper and enjoys spending time camping in it. When she is not camping, she is an office worker for a large car dealership. Her favorite flowers are gerber daisies and her favorite color is blue.

I'm not usually a Teapotter, but Karen is such a dear here on SCS that I wanted to be sure to participate in this one. All my hopes and prayers are with Susan and her family.
I wanted to thank you all in advance for sending cards to Susan. She is just done with radiation and now just taking a daily dose of medication. I hope this is the end for her. I forgot to mention that she loves flip-flops and would wear them daily!! I can't make my card until this afternoon, outside obligations, ya know ...

I couldn't do the fancy tent cards but I broke out some unused stamps to make this camping scene.(Like so many of my acrylic sets, I have no idea who made these.) The Hello stamp is from scrapbook.com My card
I tried an acetate card but didn't like the way it came out.. wouldn't fold nice and flat and also wouldn't stand alone - just fell over. So, I made this card instead:
My card for Susan. I’m not a camper but I do love daisies and the color blue, and have plenty of both to work with. I included a bee for the camping/nature part.
I think SCS has a bug......I had put a comma in between the two keywords, but when it posted it did not show the comma, so my card is not in either gallery..

I know it is a week after, but I finally have my tent card done and will get it out in the mail pronto. I had some tent-camping stamps rather than an actual camper, so I used that. This was my first time doing a "tent" style card and it was fun. Tent camping with eagle soaring
