Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT748 Let's Use Stencils
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge -- the more, the merrier! You automatically become a "TEApotter" the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something about the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary-- it's not a requirement, but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: jacqueline/Jacqueline
CHALLENGE: Let's use stencils! Use a stencil, or two, to create a nice background or use them to jazz up diecut pieces. There are lots of tutorials for techniques using stencils - bonus points if you try one.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Hello, Get Well/Feel Better, Hugs, Religious/Spiritual cards are welcome
DESTINATION: This week we'll be sending cards to fellow Teapotter, Carlene (aka Chatterbox-1) who has been experiencing several health issues. She recently had surgery and can sure use some Teapotter healing thoughts, warm fuzzies, and paper hugs. Carlene has been unable to type or make cards so we'll bring the fun to her. Besides her cardmaking, Carlene's interests include reading, anything computer related, traveling, sewing, jewelry making, board/card games, and time with family and friends.
SEND YOUR CARD TO:
Carlene Prichard
20924 SE 288 PL
Kent, WA 98042
USA

Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT748 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
I will send a Carlene a card out of my stash. Hope she is recovering well. Happy day

although it came out okay, I did find out my "stencil" is actually a "decorative mask" from Stampin' Up that is to be used with paste. And, I know I purchased the paste when I bought it a year or 2 ago ! LOL
Hey Fellow Tea Potters. A call has been put out on the Cards for a Cause thread for 5 yr Conor who has been repeatedly hospitalized for multiple surgeries. Most recently he has had to stay in the hospital for two months and his 6th birthday in approaching. I know this is a very busy time for everyone, but if you are inclined and would like to join in, here's the link to the request: cards for a 5 yr old boy by mac4551 at Splitcoaststampers
Hope everyone is having a joyful and safe holiday season. Hugs.
With great sorrow, I share the sad news that Carlene Prichard (Chatterbox-1) died. Surrounded by her family, she passed just after midnight January 1, 2023.
She loved receiving your cards and had them displayed where she could easily see them. During one of her hospital stays, and aid started to move the cards to make room for something. Carlene quickly said, " Leave them right where they are. Those are my cards!" You helped uplift her spirits.
We will miss her friendship, her wonderful smile, quirky sense of humor, generosity and love.
Carla
Carla, so sad to hear this news of Carlene. She participated in the Alpha Challenges so often along with so many others. Such a nice person and made beautiful cards.
Carla, Thank you so much for letting us know. I am so so sorry to hear this news. I so enjoyed seeing Carlene's cards and marveled at how many challenges she could cover with one card. I looked forward to seeing what and how she was going to it each post. She will be sorely missed here. My heart and prayers go out to you, her family and friends. Hugs.
Carla, thank you for letting us know Carlene had passed. She sure loved making her cards like many of us do. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, Hugs
