You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: Shoe Girl / Lisa
CHALLENGE:
Wow 90th Birthday, could you imagine having 90 cards or 90 balloons? Well we can send cards and we can send cards with Balloons. Today's challenge add a balloon to your card for our special destination this week.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Happy BirthdayThis week's Tea Party was requested by contrapat (Pat Turner). Pat saw an ad in her local paper asking for a card shower to celebrate a 90th birthday. Uthona Tole will turn 90 on March 12th. We might be fashionable late to the party, but let's join in anyway! Uthona (Toni) Tole's daughter is planning a card shower for her mother and hoping to make her 90th birthday really special.

Toni's card is in the mail slot and goes postal tomorrow. You all take care. Love, hugs and prayers=grandmajudy
Well, I do find balloons "challenging" so this was a challenge for me; but I was very pleased with how the MFT stamp set worked out for the bg of my card. I wish the silver metallic ink was more silvery and less gray though. But, I made up for it with glitter paper. LOL Thanks for hosting this week, Lisa. LOL, out of curiosity from all saying Toni will get 90 balloons, I went and gave quick count and she is there already plus so many more with the dsp with balloons so she may hit 150 yippee for her

As the person who originally made this teaparty request, I'm going to ask if any of you are willing to make a card for another recipient. The teapotters are booked up solid until May and a friend needs encouragement. PLEASE click the link in my signature to help out! Thanks in advance.
I had several extra balloons, some foiled with Toni's name, so I filled a small envelope with elements and baker's twine and sent it to Toni's daughter in case she might want to make a dangler with them. No idea if she will or not, but it seemed a waste for me to keep bits that I'd never use again.
