MMTPT791 - September 19, 2023 - I Went to a Garden Party
Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT791
I Went to a Garden Party
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: Jennifrann/Jen
CHALLENGE:
Our Tea Party today is going to be a Garden Party. Our guest of honor loves flowers, gardening, and Elvis and Glenn Miller music. That got me thinking of music in the garden and the song "Garden Party" by Ricky Nelson popped into my head. Let's throw Francesca a rockin' Garden Party for her 75th birthday!
CARD TYPE/THEME: Happy 75th birthday, Hugs, cheerful, thinking of you
Today's Tea Party was requested by fellow SCS member, Caterina (caterinafmig) for her sister, Francesca. She would like us to send Francesca some birthday love as she turns 75 on September 29th. Caterina tells us that her sister lost her husband in April 2020. They were married for 53 years and she mourns him very much today. She is also struggling with many health problems and could use some extra birthday Teapotter cheer.
Francesca loves her grandchildren, flowers, gardening, traveling, Glenn Miller music, and Elvis Presley.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
here is my card Handing you a smile by mac4551 at Splitcoaststampers. The colors are actually much brighter on the card itself. I want to learn to cut dies in white, and then color them in. Everyone does such a beautiful shading coloring job - I need to LEARN to do that to make my cards pop a little more and look a little more realistic over using just colored cardstock...
A little late to the Garden Party! Here is my Garden On An Easel card for Francesca's birthday!
