Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: jacqueline/Jacqueline
Ann Otto, a.k.a. annsforte3, has requested a teaparty for her sweet neighbor and friend of 42 years, Pat. Pat is a retired nurse, church volunteer, and the sweetest, kindest person Ann knows. She is a breast cancer survivor and has been in remission; however, the cancer has come back and is now in her liver. Pat is currently undergoing treatment and Ann says that while Pat usually has a good attitude, lately she’s been a little less positive, saying things like “I've had a good life" or “well I'm still alive". Ann has requested help from the Teapotters to help lift Pat’s spirits and give her some kind words and prayers as she goes through the trials of cancer treatments again.
Pat has deep faith in God, loves camping (they own a RV) with family, and animals - they currently have a golden retriever.
CHALLENGE: It’s Teaparty Tic-Tac-Toe time. Simply choose three in a row and include all elements from that row on your creation. Will you go up, down, across or diagonally? It's up to you but make sure you include each element and mention which row you chose.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Prayers, Caring Thoughts, Hugs; Religious/Faith based cards are welcome. Please be mindful of the situation – do not send “Get Well” messages.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail[email protected].
I found Pat's story rather sad and I wanted to send her a card showing her the things she cares about in life as encouragement. But like Tic Tac Toe, I lost and only was able to incorporate two of the three elements. I used RVing and Dogs,
So glad I had time to get a card made for Pat. Cancer is such crushing disease - it can ravish the body but for people of faith it cannot crush the soul!
I have never figured out how to upload a card but I did make one for Pat and will get it in the mail. I used the center row, made a Pinwheel card for P, used the Gentle Thoughts of You sentiment from Garden Collage and put a little bird with a heart in his mouth as the animal. It turned out cute; maybe someday I will learn how to upload!

I've been doing the Teapot Tuesdays since Feb 2019 and only learned to upload cards in the past 1-2 years. A couple of crafters sent directions, but I still had trouble.. For some reason my older computer will no longer let me download an image, I have to use my Tracfone and work from it - sometimes it can take over an hour to get a card to upload for me - but I'm sure someone here can walk you through the steps... don't give up....
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
A little late to the party--my mojo decided to take a vacation earlier in the week! Here is my card for Pat: Camping by the Lake

went ACROSS : Gold (used some copper too, but gold colored leaves!!), heart/love sentiment, and what’s better than camping among the leaves in the fall… when there’s less bugs!

toot me a few days to find my camping stamps and dies... I did the challenge using the vertical end set: camping, initials, dog. The initials didn't come out exactly like I had planned, I wanted them to kind of look like clouds... but at least they are on the card.. LOL
Here is my card for Pat, I had a difficult time choosing which way i wanted to go in my tic tac toe. I chose going across the middle.
Pink, Purple, pomegranate, I added a fox sitting under the pomegranate tree.

Pat said the cards have lifted her heart and made her feel so loved. She can't believe strangers would care so much, says thank you, thank you to all. She was in tears.
