Our Teaparty this week is about a sister’s devotion. Marcia’s sister Joyce had a stroke two years ago and had to move to a nursing home. We actually had a Teaparty for Joyce November 16, 2021. During the last two years Marcia has taken over Joyce’s paperwork, sold her house, etc and continued to be a caregiver to her. She never complains and is always there for her sister. Marcia put off hip replacement surgery but finally was able to have it a few weeks ago. Let’s show some care for this caregiver.
Challenge: We're doing a word play with the word “CARE”. Use at least 3 of the letters representing something on your card.

Ok, Everyone, I did the dumbest thing in Friday. I mailed Marcia's card w/o writing my sentiment in it. I was too busy running my mouth and did not realize it until yesterday.
NOW, what do I do?

Oh, MaryJo, I feel for you! That is one of my biggest worries as I'm dropping a card into the big blue mailbox...as it slips out of my hand...did I or didn't I remember to write something, and to sign it???
My suggestion (and I'm sure someone else has a better one) would be to let Mac (mac4551) know, with a PM, as I think she knows the sisters (Mac made a Teaparty request for Joyce two years ago, see the link in Polly's first post of this week's Teaparty). I bet Mac would be willing to give Marcia a "heads up" that your card is coming as a blank card that she can reuse, with your blessings! And I'm sure she would be willing to write up something for you and give it to Marcia. Just my thoughts! :-)

Thanks Liz, I sent Mac a message. This is like I can't believe I ate the whole thing but instead, I can't believe I forgot to write my sentiment in the card.

But I'm laughing with you because I have done similar things as well. I use to think I was a champion multi-tasker, but I sure ain't no more. I think Liz gave you the best advice. Welcome to my world. LOL.
