Sorry it's not my best.. working on little sleep here as baby decided to be all night again!!! So please be nice! ;) My card I used is in my description.
I had to do this all the time when I was a demo. I don't know how many workshops I did where I forgot the main stamp set and I had to think on my feet! The cards always turned out great and noone ever noticed but me. Of course, you never want to encourage doing this on purpose unless it is for a challenge. LOL!

fun! I do this all the time. Well, not forget my stamps, but use card kits that I have laying around from workshops & classes to create something entirely different. I will grab a kit and be back with my card!
Great challenge, Beth - although I almost put it in TL136 (where there are some cards!) - couldn't figure out why so few and then it dawned on me! TLC not TL!!
And here's one that I did BEFORE I started the other one as I didn't read the directions very well! I changed the colors on this one forgetting what the point of this challenge was! Daa!! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
TFL!!:-D

Wow, Beth, this challenge is a great one because it teaches us flexiblity!! I always tell my stampers there is always a plan B in my book because I always tend to forget something when it comes to bringing all the supplies.

Hey---is it just me or did the Tech Challenge change keywords? Today's is TL136, but always before it's been TLC---I put both in my keywords just in case.
Thanks for the challenge---no, really!

Thanks Beth for sharing that story with us. I can only image the fear that went through your head when you realized what had happened. Glad it all turned out fine.
This was kind of tough for me, mainly because I rely a lot on DP on a lot of my cards, and sometimes my stamping is an afterthought. I think I need to make an effort to change it up and get more stamping in.
Thanks, Beth, for two things. First, for not letting me be the only one who has done that and second, for the challenge, I had spare parts for this card that needed to be used.
That happen to me once - forgot a stamp set for a workshop and had to improvise. It turned out okay, but boy, did I sweat!
This is a great challenge, because I have a lot of leftovers from old make 'n take projects, so I had a look at my stash and used some of that cut cardstock. Here are three versions of a same design:
