Here is my card for this challenge...Cute little frog card for my nephew for his birthday. Hopefully he doesn't mind a couple of flowers and glitter--he's only going to be 4 so he probably won't mind. Thanks for looking and for the fun challenge! I hadn't made one of these in ages! That was fun but I did cut my designer paper wrong the first time. Learned my lesson. Put the two pieces of designer paper face to face and cut together!

OMG! Since I am a kindergarten teacher and say this at least 50 times a day, I'm gonna have to haul my bottom home early today so I can make one of these cute cards!

I first heard this phrase when my two went to preschool! We used to call it something else which is not considered PC anymore. I actually like Criss Cross Applesauce....way more fun to say!
Looks like my submission won't come up by search once again so here's my very first criss cross. I'm off to grab some breakfast & look at all your samples!
I have never been able to figure these out! and I even have one that a friend sent me! I will go look at the links you sent for the tutorial and maybe I can figure it out this time. I just love them.

My first thot when I saw that was maybe you a had a technique where we were going to use applesauce. Can you tell my kids are way older? (in college now).
I have the day off..President's Day!!! Here's mine...an idea for some baby shower invites. Not too happy with the coloring...will adjust if they like these for the shower. ~TFL
This is a new layout I came up with, and its done with one piece of card. Just follow the steps one by one and you'll get it. I hope it helps, have fun.
These are the first three steps: first score in half both ways. second cut out the one quarter as shown. third is to cut the diagonal as shown.

These are the last three steps: fourth is to cut the second diagonal as shown. fifth is to fold the top diagonal as shown. last step is to fold the last diagonal up and the criss cross is done. Here's my card for the Challenge. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

OK, no laughing (at least outloud) at my poor attempt at this challenge. it really challenged my creativity and i went the "simplistic" route, the more elaborate was hard(?!). so this is my offering...
i really need to practice this one... hmmm, thanks for the challenge! (did you smell my brain smokin?)

thanks so much for the pictures, Beth! I didn't do the VSN challenge and I have such a busy day today I thought there is no way I'd do this one, either, but maybe with those pics I can figure it out! If not today, I'll use them to get one done sometime this week--I've wanted to try it, just not devote four hours to it!
My 3 grandchildren, I love being a Grandma! My profile picture is a 5 generations picture with my granddaughter. I'm the one in the pink. lol (Back Right) Too fun.
