OK now I didn't do something right....how do you place a link to the card with the message???
Open up another window and find your card in the gallery. While there, highlight and copy (Ctrl C) the address in the browser address window. Then go back to your post. Click on the button that looks like this , and paste (Ctrl V) the browswer address that you just copied.
I didn't have craft ink in the colors I wanted to use so I just went over the background with versamark...you just can't see the flourish detail very well.
Anyway, here it is.. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
aahh... finally have time to get back into the challenges! Here is my card for this challenge- it was FUN! I will have to do this for a class sometime.
Is there something that I'm missing or doing wrong on this. When I stamp over the craft ink background with white craft and then put clear embossing powder over it and heat emboss, the images go clear on me. I'm not getting a white image at all? Any tips on what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated

here are my 2 attempts at this one... i think i need to retry later in the week b/c i don't think i'm so thrilled with these. i'm not sure if it's the tapestry part i don't like or the rest of the card... let me know what you think!
I've been promising myself to try some of these techniques, so thanks for the push. I didn't have the craft pads, so I had to use regular. The white doesn't show up so good, but here it is: TLC125 Bravo Changito! by wooddeboraha at Splitcoaststampers
This was a great challenge and many beautiful cards were made. I wish I could comment on all of them, but did several! Great job everyone!!
Well I did mine a little bit different than the tutorial. I didn't cover up my "tapestry" piece all the way so mine is a "light" tapestry. I'm not so sure about how it turned out. But my mommy liked it. So anyway, I'm sorry it's wrong.
This was fun! I love it when the paper turns out like hand dyed fabric. It's one way that quilting and cardmaking overlap.
I tried to attach a link to my card, but it says I'm not allowed since I'm so new. I've made over the mandatory three posts, so I'm not sure what else I need to do. I'll keep trying. It is in the new gallery though.
