My third attempt and I like it. The first two smeared when I crumpled the paper so I switched tissue and it worked. I also found that glitter glue will turn real red to bright orange, not good. Live and learn!

Here's my card

My TLC40..faux silk card. I used a Xmas print tissue paper that worked just fine. I did glue with glue stick to a piece of More Mustard CS, which enhanced the color of the tissue. No stamping on tissue, since it already had a design. It made a quick and easy card. Wish I had mounted the faux silk layer higher......oh well. Enjoy, Nancy

Whoops,,,,,,,thanks Roxie for letting me know that I forgot the link....in a hurry I guess.......

I had to do one more yesterday but of course I can't upload on Sunday. So this one is using a printed tissue for the background. I bought this tissue for cards and only used it once because it wrinkled to easy...hey I didn't know about faux silk then. Thanks Beth for the technique, all that pretty tissue paper that comes in gifts will now have a new purpose.

Here's my card

Loved doing this technique. It really is one of those that looks so much nicer in real life. I could get addicted to this . . . . . . . what am I talking about? I already AM addicted!!

Here's what I did with Faux Silk. I combined both with the last two color challenges - CC38 and CC39.

Here's another that combines SC50 with TLC40. I found some nice Chanukah tissue paper locally and had to try it out:

these are all so pretty, and I want to try this. But to clarify, am I to stamp the tissue before or after I crumple it and glue it? Thanks!

Stamp first and then crumple, uncrumble and glue onto cardstock. It's a real nice look, you'll like it.

Subscribing for future upload. I did this a long time ago, but didn't know what the technique was called.
