I was just thinking to myself today - I would like to get back into the challenges. I'm so glad I have the supplies for this one. Hopefully I'll be able to post one later tonight.
You know... the stuff we don't want to do! If it's not for stamping, I think it's a chore! My DH actually called me this morning and told me to do laundry!!!! I guess he thinks I'm blind. I asked if he is now telling me what to do and he said "no, I'm just reminding you". :???:
The saran wrap sponging didn't scan at all. But it is there and it turned out well IRL. It looks cute on an Easter basket in pastels.
Here is my basket. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I never "trash' my ugly ones or mistakes...I mail them to my mom or sister with a note of what they need to order to make it themselves. Then they send me a check and order. But then I have to drive down when the order comes to show them how to do it, but it usually means more orders from whoever else they invite over. Easiest workshop ever! Its all with thier stuff they ordered.
Finally got mine done, took me forever to get the right background look. Glad I felt like stamping this morning, but now I think I need a nap -- been a long morning -- I hear my heating pad calling!

Oh man - mine informed me yesterday he didn't have any clean clothes (as if I haven't been drugged and on the couch all week unable to get up without weaving) -- whatever is the matter with them!

Hey Sherry,
I don't know about your DH but mine has "NO Compassion"!!! I guess it goes back to "Women are from Venus and Men are from Mars"! Most men just don't understand. My DH is famous for saying "If you don't mind, it don't matter". I always tell him... "but I do mind"! ;)
I hope you are feeling better real soon!
I didn't get in here right away this morning. I was still working on Saturdays Scrapbook sketch challenge. I am amazed at how many of you have already produced cards. I am so slow it is sad. Better get going or I won't have time this afternoon.
Location: My very hot stamp room, in Phoenix! It's a dry heat.

This is cracking me up that y'all like my first one #1better than the one I think is way better #2
I nearly threw out #1, but then added some things to it. I guess that was the trick. Too funny. But then, I often find that a card I make that I think is fabulous doesn't get many comments, while one I don't think is worthy of being posted gets more comments. I must have lousy taste! lol
Thanks for all your nice comments. You make me smile. Especially Pink-fish saying she is going to come and go through my trash. I laughed out loud at that one.
Here is my entry. This is my first time to use Garden Collage and I thought it would look well with aging and gold leaf. This technique was good for aging the background paper.

Tell him what I tell My DH. HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE!
I'd forgotten about this technique, thx for the reminder! This is an old one I did back when I was very new, I'll try hard to get one done later this week.
p.s. If you don't want to "sponge" your paper with your saran wrap, you can lay it over your paper and run your brayer over it to transfer the ink. Wax paper works really well for this too.
I'm going to keep trying until I like the results. I'm not so happy with this one, but I just started another one and I'll see if it comes out a little better. I do like the technique though. Again, thanks for the great challenges. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
