This was my first card I posted on SCS. I used colors on my split negative. Hope to get a chance to do a B&W today!

I simply love this!!! Great challenge Beth. I've never done with EP before (because I didn't have balck or white!), I love the crisp image you get. Here's my card (pending as of 1:00 CT):

Great challenge Beth. You really inspired some great cards with this technique. Had never tried this before but it was fun and will definitely keep it in mind!

I've never tried this either - very cool technique! Does anyone know if embossing powder goes bad? I've had my black EP for probably ten years and it didn't work quite right.

Ok, gals this is my last one for the day....I love this technique. This one I tried using color in...not too sure about it. I put versamark and pink ep over the background of linen...very interesting, don't you think. I am enjoying seeing everyone's cards...keep 'em coming.

TLC65, Optical Illusion
Suen used this Outlines background and inspired me to use it to make a second card. Thanks for the push, Suen. Your card is great!!

I uploaded my attempt at the challenge. It isn't great but it is better IRL than the scan turned out. But now that I uploaded it I might as well post it too.

I had never done this technique before. It was quite challenging (I LOVE color!); but for a first-time effort, I think it's okay.

Here's mine.... my white e/p got a tad yellow through the years, but I think it'll pass, especially with this "Old Barn" stamp.
Thanks for the challenge, Beth!

Beth, Somehow I managed to squeeze in time for your TLC65 challenge. It just looked like so much fun and.......it was! After uploading I saw that kellymartin had a very similar card. We did not see each others cards, but looks like we cased each other. Take a look at Kelly's card too. Thanks for looking, Nancy

Whew! First chance I've had to do a challenge in weeks! I've had these stamps sitting out for a few days trying to figure out just what to do with them. This technique was perfect! I finally skipped the embossing step, though, as I could not get the black powder to quit sticking to all the wrong parts of the paper (and I tried LOTS of different methods!).
