Can't play with you girls today -- sure wish I could -- we have overnight guests and guess what -- my stamping room is also the guest bedroom -- sort of -- it's all in one huge room in the basement -- so, I'm out of commission for a few days I think (boo hoo!!!!). I'm checking out your creations, however -- have fun!!!
"you spin me right round baby, right round, like a record player, right round, right round"....ok, now I'll have this '80's song stuck in my head all day!!!
Love spinner cards, hope I get to play later, got a sick girl on my hands.
I didn't get to VSN so I really hope she takes a nap (plus she need it)!
I have done one of these before, but it's been a while...great chance to play with a few new sets!!;) I think I'll make mine with the word window punch like the others(great idea!)...haven't used it for that yet! I'll try one later, after I complete LAST week's TLC!! Thanks Beth!!

Ok, here's my first attempt at a spinner card. I had to cheat a little and use some stickers since I didn't have the stamp sets to do what I wanted. TFL~
I have always wanted to do a spinner... But alas it will have to be another day. My 14 year old DS is having a swim party today and that is one where I dare not be distracted. When you have a bunch of teenagers playing in the lake, one must pay attention. Am looking forward to seeing all the cute cards though.
I didn't have any dimensionals--I use the rubber from my stamp cut outs--so I used sticky dots and buttons to get the smooth round shape. I dusted EP on the sticky, after the stack was completed so it wouldn't stick to the track. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

LOL! That is exactly the song that played through my head (and still is) when I read the title of the challenge. I've never done a spinner card before so I'm going to try later.

I finally got a chance to stamp. It has some problems, but it was fun to make (and play with) Occasionally, it will slide instead of spin though-anyone know what causes that? Too small of a dimensional maybe?
This is a very pretty card, but didn't scan very well due to the light colors and popping up from the scanner's bed....yes, I'm patting myself on the back, but please comment anyway so I don't feel insane!!! (hee-hee) Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this challenge. I made my first spinner card tonight and gave it to my neighbor I was so excited. Can't wait to do more of these!!

This doesn't begin to compare with some of the great cards here, but it's my first attempt at a spinner card, so what the heck! Here goes: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
It spins best if you stack two dimensionals between your card stock layers; that way the pennies have room to spin. Also spins better if it is held straight up and not tilted back at all. Hope this helps.
Here's my first attemptever........ followed by Birthday Spinner. I'm going to continue to experiment with different shapes etc. Thanks again Beth for this challenge.;)

Here are two that I already had done. I haven't had much time to "play" with my stamps lately. My 2 year old and 5 year old sure are keeping me busy this summer!
