I made a few cards today with backgrounds that are all pretty pastel- therefore I think they qualify for the Peaceful challenge. I guess these colors are peaceful to me!!! The technique is called Gesso resist from the latest TJ newsletter. The technique softens the colors even more, I hope you will enjoy them! Happy New Year to everyone!

I added glitter to all of the bubbles with stickles after I scanned it- and gave this to my New Years Eve hostess- it really added alot to it.
I had this sucker done last night - but my New Year's Resolution was to be in bed by 10:00 in work nights and I couldn't get it uploaded to the site!!!

This is a first for me, but thought I would share a photo type of solitude card I made last night that was a peaceful place I would like to be right now.
My first challenge! I had this card in mind and then when I read the challenge I thought it would fit in well. Now to go relax with a nice cup of cocoa....
I have a lot of cards that would fit, but I finally had a chance to make a new one. Your description reminded me of a description of sympathy cards. Unfortunately, most of us need one from time to time, so that is what I made.
This is my first ever attempt at any challenge so forgive me if I am not doing it right. I know I'm kinda late here... but I liked this challenge and figured the one I did for Christmas was very peaceful. Hope you like.
