Whaaaa!!!!:( I can't get the directions to work!!! They won't open when I save them. I've had recent trouble with Adobe and it doesn't want to upgrade either for some reason.
Here is mine. I've done several of these because they are quick and cheap. My best one I didn't photograph. I made a guest book for a wedding present, because I thought the bride and groom would like a record of all the people who visit their new home. I put quotes/stamps/stickers about friendship on every page. (Note to self--be sure you know the magnitude of THAT task before you begin!) This journal is my own. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

here's mine! now I need to go clean house and make lunch for hungry kids and get back to work as usual. Thanks for the challenge, this book was purchased over a year ago to recover but I had put it on a shelf and forgot all about it!
Here is one from my gallery and hope I can get to another today! The front of this is actually a shaker though it is hard to tell... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Happily stampin' away the day!
I almost didn't do this challenge; but, when I went to Michaels after lunch, I found this spiral journal and matching note pad in the $1 bin. A piece of paper in the DCWV pack I bought yesterday matched the colors on the cover, so I used it. I may give this set to a friend for her birthday in February.

I actually made quite a few of these for my craft fair in December. I do plan to make more, people really like these. And I also added beaded pens. One thing I found worked really well was using Modge Podge to glue the paper on. And I also used a piece of Whisper White c/s on the inside of the cover (front and back) to give it a finished look. I believe I read that idea somewhere here on SCS.
I've always wanted one of these, but was always busy making them for other people. Now I have one of my very own thanks to you, Beth! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Ladies, I just love looking at your books. I did one for my girlfriend and one for me a couple of years ago as birthday presents. We share the same month and year. They were great as gratitude journals. Will have to make another one CASEing some of your ideas. I need to make a sketch journal ala JulieHRR.
If you go to the gallery, then to Anything But a Card, you can view the galleries for the journals, notebooks, etc.
IF you put them in that catagory. Since DD made one, I put hers in her album so it doesn't show in Anything But a Card, so she only has one comment so far. It is linked with the "code" once that is fixed.

I left her a comment a few minutes ago. She does beautiful work. You are lucky to have a stamping buddy!
I just got home, so as soon as my kids go to bed, I will get to work; I love making these!
The ice storm kept me in today (Austin, not Hawaii!!) and I got to play with the journal challenge. This is my first journal and I really like it. Hopefully I will use it as well. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for the challenge. I've got a bunch of these stashed away and now maybe I'll do something with them.
