Default Alternative to Faux Diamond Dust?

I would like to try out the Faux Diamond Dust Technique, but I don't have any Irridescent Ice EP yet. Can I mix Clear EP with Dazzling Diamonds instead, or will it not stick well once it's embossed? Is the glitter (Dazzling Diamonds) too large?

Any advice would be appreciated! I'm too impatient to wait for my next order!

I did that for snowflakes and used my white craft pad instead of Versamark and it worked great. You might want to make a small batch of it in a separate container.

Hello stampers!! I just did a class with this Faux Diamonds technique. You can mix clear embossing powder with dazzling diamonds to create Irridescent Ice embossing powder. You can do the same with Silver glitter to create Hologram Highlights. If you notice when using your mixture that the glitter is not sticking well, just add a little bit more embossing powder to the mixture.

There is a tutorial in the resources section showing how to do the faux diamond dust. There is also a link for samples. I have a few in my gallery but they are several pages back.

Hope this helps!! Happy Stamping!
