Default the best glue for chipboard

What have you found to be the smoothest looking glue for attaching paper to chipboard?

I like the 'spray glue'-----comes in different brands, etc.

At Mike's or JoAnn's it's in the glue isle----look on the bottom shelf for the sprays.

I use PVA (white glue), usually without any problems. I use a foam brush to apply the glue to the chipboard and then put the paper on top and smooth it out.
