I love to use bleach on my cards, but was wondering what you all use to bleach? I have used a Clorox Gel Bleach pen before, and bleach on a paper towel, all of which worked great. I have heard of putting bleach on a piece of felt to make a bleach stamp pad. What do you use?
Also, I always versamark my stamp before putting in bleach to help preserve the rubber. Do any of you do this?
I have a generic disposable sandwich size container. In the bottom of that I cut up a piece of felt and got it wet with bleach. I first did this about 1 1/2 weeks ago for the technique challenge and just got it out a couple of nights ago and it was still plenty wet and worked fine
I used bleach in a postage thing [I want to call it an envelope moistener ?]; I had a lot of success with it. I could use it to moisten staps and directly on paper.
I just attended regionals in Washington DC last Friday and they told us that it was SAFE to use bleach in the aqua pens. I was SO glad to hear this because I had bought a second set of them just for this purpose, but was scared to actually try it. We had a demo of it where she stamped and embossed an outline image in black on blue cardstock, then used the pen to "paint" bleach into the areas she wanted to watercolor. It was gorgeous! Try it!
