Default Blender Pens & Craft Spots

Can you use blender pens with craft pads (spots in particular)? I had a customer ask me this and I wasn't sure. I'll have to try it when I go home. If anyone has experience with this let me know.
Thanks!

Dont' know for sure about blender pens, but I've used a wet brush to watercolor from the lid of my craft pad just like with the classics. I'd pull a little color off the spot with a dry brush and then mix it into a drop of water on a glass or plastic surface. I think that would work just as well, though it might be a little challenging to get the "mix" right.

I really like watercoloring with white and vanilla craft ink on colored stock.

just a little dap of craft ink will do or you will spend the afternoon trying to get it out of the pen when you are done with the color. LOL i had a customer try it and thought she ruined the blender pen. Heather Pardue

I just got my craft spots in the mail last week and have spent a lot of time the past couple of days "watercoloing" with the spots and my blender pen. I have loved the results!!!! Doing this on Kraft Brown is one of my favs!

As Heathr4mk said, just a little dab goes a long way. I also cleaned off my blender pen with a baby wipe. Gets the color off a lot faster and keeps the pend moist longer because you're not using all the liquid trying to get the ink off it.

Oh, and the first thing I do before I do any watercoloring is to spray my CS (after I have stamped my image) with Krylon Matte Spray. Then the bp just glides over the paper and the colors blend beautifully without the paper "pilling" up.

Wink

I just use the spots and stamp the top of the plastic case the stamps come in and pick the color off of the case with my blender pens. One press of the ink on the case lgives you a lot of color to work with.

In an act of desperation, I found that I could stamp the ink spot on a plastic coffee lid and pick the color up from the lid. Anything plastic would work. The ink stays wet for a long time. I've also used Dixie cups!
