I could of had a baby during the life of this thread. Actually someone watching probably did.
I think many of us are disheartened that watching and praying and wishing Pam the very best and feeling sorry and all for all the wrong doings.
At the end of the day no one is any closer to getting the NEW tutorial and after all this time I honestly feel a new one is not coming any time soon.
:(
I think about this thread every now and again and pop on to see if maybe I am wrong and Pam has kept her word and finally posted.
I would hate to disappoint anyone neither less offer a group of poelpe who have wished me an my family so MANY MANY MANY times and sympathised, sympathised, over and over only to leave EVERYONE here WAITING< waiting , WAITING ever so PATIENTLY.....
Sorry everyone, in advance who think I am being a little outspoken here...
Life goes on an now this thread is dead but we are all chatting about nothing, which I find amusing and happy to go along with maybe a verse to follow LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have seen these bows many times at places like walmart. I used to buy them attached to rubber bands for my daughters hair when she was little (she is now 14). So, I am not so sure this person invented them unless she did it many years ago. You could probably go out and buy one, then deconstruct it to see how it was made. Too bad I didn't save any.
I am so sorry this thread has come to an end. I applaud all of us who were so compassionate and loyal to Pam. But, I think it is time to let go and carry on. We have enough instructions from other fellow threaders, so that we can try something unique to each of us. They may not look just like Pam's, but they sure are beautiful to me.
So, ladies. What do you say? Let's give Pam and this thread a rest! I would, however, check her blog occasionally. I just love looking at her creations.

Rosetta, I agree with you. Maybe if we aren't so impatiently waiting for it, it will appear here..........................
Actually, this "bow" of hers has been around a long time. She has no copyright to it because it's been crafted by other women before her. Thanks to the Internet, she has popularized it. I remember when I was a kid in an elementary school craft class (about 100 years ago) we did the same thing using yarn - just strips of yarn gathered up and tied with another piece of yarn.

Ouch, that hurt. Why are you picking on little ole me ? Do you just want to go riding on my harley? At least I was more suttle than some. Remember, jan, i'm a personal friend of ELVIS. Thanks for not making fun of my Broncos....

I feel better now. Cause you know how sensitive us bikers are. All riders welcome but winter has set in here in colorado, so back to my truck.
Thanks for not making fun of my 'Rockies'.

I stumbled on this thread and can't believe what I am reading. I have made these "blossom bows" you speak of for years, she is not the original designer of these, I learned to make these from a small town craft store in West Virginia where we lived when my daughter was little, (15 - 17 years ago). I made them for her shoes, hair, clothing..anything I wanted a "poufy" bow on.
Okay, my point is, I will show you how to make these. Give me a few hours to photo shoot the steps and I will post it on my blog for all of you wonderful SCS fans to see. Get our your favorite ribbons, and sharp scissors.
Fabulous! I could READ all the instructions, but none of the photos opened up (or showed up) for me.
Me either.
Well, I only read the first couple of post and the last few...I have no idea what they look like on a card. BUT it does remind me of something back in the day and that something I would like to create because I LOVE ribbon, SO, thank you, Barbara, for posting the instructions and I will wait patiently to see the pix
I just went and checked it, it looks okay now. I wonder why the photos were not showing up. If the link doesn't work, just go directly to my blog and it is the first post.
