I am so thankful that you have all been so understanding about my reasons for deleting the tutorial----I guess the nasty messages really knocked the wind out of me, and though I'd like to think otherwise, I'm not as 'thick-skinned' as I'd like to think I am, and, honestly, I was hurt.
That's in the past, though, and I'm not going to continue to dwell on negative things, especially not when I've met SO many fabulous people through SCS and my blog. THAT is what I'm going to focus on---all you WONDERFUL people!! :-)
Right now, I'm tweaking the last few parts of the tutorial for the 'Ribbon Blossom', and it'll be ready soon---I promise!!
Hugs to you all----you've all made me feel SO much better!! Pam
Get ready.....the excitement & patience you've shown will (VERY, VERY) soon be worth you wait!!!!
Thanks for your loyalty to my hard work & my creation, too!!! I really appreciate it!!!
this is awesome news!!!! I will be looking everyday at your blog for more info! thank you for the update

I've sent out the tutorials asked for except for a couple I am waiting for email addresses from.
Please let me know if you gave me your email address and didn't receive the tutorial... I always worry about these things :(.
I would love a tutorial for these...I just can't get it right it seems.
Ignore the negative people in life... life is just too short.
Just smile, let it roll off, and know that for every 1 negative person there are hundreds of people that are VERY appreciative of all you do.
Besides, they may be cranky because they don't have near your talent! LOL
Thanks!

I have posted so few times that I can't remember how to do it. I have been checking her blog several times a day looking for the tutorial for those beautiful 'blossoms' and I'm to the point of.... well, I don't know, but I'm to that point! "Teaser, teaser" You're dealing with an old chick here (by the way, It's my BIRTHDAY so PLEASE share those instructions) who knows how much longer I have ;-)
This must be a good week-----my birthday is Wednesday!!! (I survived hitting the big 4-0 last year, so this one should be a piece of cake!!) Happy Birthday, everybody!!!

It sounds wonderful, fair, exciting, and just plain GOOD!
I also PM'd for instructions and am also in the stalker's club, LOL! I emailed Pam and also agreed that she had been treated very poorly. I'm assuming that none of those people read this thread to see how strongly we feel about it.
Happy Birthday, Pam! Since I will be 55 on Thursday, I think 41 sounds pretty good! Seriously...I have two wonderful grandkids, a great daughter, a wonderful husband (Thursday is also our 33rd anniversary!)...life is good!
Emily....blossom bows are absolutely adorable. Pam (known here as 4 hounds) solely designed/created these beauties. You can scroll up to one of her comments here in this thread and click on Pam's blog which will take you to her site...she has many GORGEOUS cards she has made and a majority of them have her blossom bow on them. You can also go to the member's gallery here on SCS and check out the cards she has posted there. She is one very creative and talented lady with one very big generous heart. She is currently finishing up the tutorial on how to make one of these gems, and will be posting it here on SCS for all of us fans who have hounded her to death for it!! She will be letting us know here in this thread when it's posted so that we can all get the instructions. Stay tuned to this thread, and you too can have the honor of learning how to make a blossom bow! (Just remember though, when you post any of your cards that you use the blossom bow on, PLEASE be courteous and give credit to Pam for the creation of the blossom bow as she deserves it!!) Hope this answered your question! AND PAM...thank you for your updates on the tutorial....we, your fans, are waiting anxiously!! Hope you had one heck of a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! Leeci

I think your words about Pam and her blossoms were very touching. I am such a fan and have replied previously on this thread. I continue to try her blossoms. I'm not close to hers, but I keep trying. They are beautiful as our Pam is.

I'm going to try to make a ribbon blossom this weekend with the instructions everyone else has left in their replies. The worst think that could happen is that is doesn't work!
I have been following this thread for some time. Just lurking. I made a ribbon bow yesterday that wasn't tooo bad. So today I just had to register so that I could post and tell ya'll.
What I did was to use about 20 pieces of ribbon. I started with a four inch piece and progressively got a little shorter. I varied the type of ribbon, satin, crossgrain and sheer. Then I got a long piece of embrodery thread- the 6 strands kind. I laid the thread on the table, put the ribbon stack on top, straightening the stack. Then carefully tied the thread around the ribbon. I pulled really really tight. Once I had the bundle of ribbons tied I started to separate the layers of ribbons. Grabbing the top ribbon tails I pulled then to the left. The next layer of ribbon tails I pulled to the right. I pulled really hard. What I noticed was that those layers slipped off to the sides they were no longer on the top of the stack. (I was holding the top layer in my left hand and the second layer in my right-pulling.)I continued through the stack. The deeper you go in the stack the harder it is to make the ribbon layer slip to the side. After I fussed with the individual tails a bit I then trimmed them. My bow had a more oval shape. But over all not too bad. I am going to try to get a picture and start an album.
