Red face covering pencil boxes

Does anyone have tips for how to nicely cover a pencil box with paper? I'm struggling here. Thanks!

Default pencil box

Well, just a thot, but you might try visiting a Lowe's or Home Depot & see if they have any wallpaper books they want to get rid of! Wallpaper is a little more "flexible" and durable than paper & you can stamp on it with StazOn Inks...or add glitter with "stickles" or similar products. Just a thot! I have LOTS of wallpaper books from these companies & they come in really handy!!!

Is the pencil box paper or plastic? That would make a difference in how I approached covering it.

Just a regular pencil box; I am wanting to cover in in cardstock. I'm just not sure how to cut paper to fit well. Thanks for your tips!
